Well, I'll doggie-sit their german shepard but the two little ones are on
their own. I have an aversion to minature dogs; all that annoying yip yip
barking- there are some things I just can put up with, even for Chris! ;-)

I now have new reviews from Rolling Stone, Kerrang, Rocksound and Metal
Hammer on my fan page (too long and too numerous to post on here I think).
So far it seems like the British press likes the album a whole lot more than
the Americans do!

It's cause Americian press only likes what is popular at the time. they
are afraid of change. That is why Rocket from the Crypt is big in Europe
and tour there a lot, and they get the star treatment there. Here in
America they don't sell as many albums cause as Petey X said once in an
interview.... "The people in the US don't like us cause we scare em. we
are to different from what they are used to and they don't know how to
take us in." All i know is the US press and album reviewers SUCK.

it's not about americans liking what's popular..

it's b/c the british have a long history of not rocking (except for the major
exceptions of sabbath and zeppelin). europe is all into all that techno pop
and softer stuff, radiohead-ish, beatles-ish stuff.. hence them liking
cornells new stuff. he doesn't rock as hard anymore.. he's more (ugh)
british. i can't wait for this damn album to come out.

btw that little 'suddenly i know' vocal tidbit in CCM invades my brain
every waking hour.

and my god.. that MTV real video.. it's wonderful how metal chris used to
be thrashing all that thick hair and no shirt.. jesus h. christ (pose)

and as far as this 'eat something' crap goes.. i think it was the 'other'
chris cornell web page that had a still of him in the water at the end of the
video.. his arm looks pretty muscled to me. i can't believe i got caught
up in that shallow crap.

Well that explains the reason of Rocket from the Crypt, who are far from
techno pop or soft stuff, are big in Europe. Must be because the sound
like radiohead. hahaha

This was all in good fun. no flame intended. Just bringing the word or

hello music fans! i'd just like to announce that i've completed what may be
my final solo album...for a while at least. if you don't own one of my
homemade tapes already, or aren't interested in any small fries inspired by
soundgarden and its various spin off groups, delete now.

if you're still around, thanks a lot. my latest is entitled "chester moon-
another first". it's 10 songs packed onto a 60 min tape for the shockingly
cheap price of $5 US (plus postage for those other countries). i still have a
few instros on it, but now the songs are primarily with vocals. as an added
bonus, all the songs are mixed to be listennable, and masterred to pro
volume. for more info (song titles, descriptions, my addy, other bits and
bobs), please reply privately.

thanks,

course i also threw in some sg content before. and i personally would have no
problem hearing about some other sommster's band. if i didn't think someone

It doesn't suprise me that the Americans didn't review it too highly. The
same thing happened with Superunknown and Down on the Upside. I'm betting
they felt like shit when they found out that the album they put as 3 stars
turned out a #1 or #2 album. I'm sure this will be thrown right smack dab
in there faces again. Mark my words.

It's not like it happens on a daily basis - so in my opinion, I don't see it

inspired you?" Well, it obviously inspired him to get off his bum and to

Subject: since we're on the subject...

Since Charlie has been self-promoting (way to go Charlie!! whoo hoo!!), I
think it's more than fair for me to announce that my old band, False Indigo,
is now through, and I'm in a new band with 3 other guys. We're doing
something I've never done before - covers! that's right, I'm going in
reverse of the traditional path bands take. I'm going from an original to a
cover. I just lost some of my creative edge, plus I wanted to pay tribute to
some of my favorite songs. We have an awesome setlist, though we are yet to
record. The list includes:
Days of the New - Enemy
Chris Cornell - Pillow of Your Bones
Creed - What's This Life For?, Higher, Allusion, and Torn
Weezer - Say It Ain't So and The World Has Turned and Left Me Here
Dave Matthews - Crush
Tonic - If You Could Only See
Fuel - Shimmer and Sunburn
Jimi Hendrix - Hey Joe
Live - White, Discussion and Waterboy
Mountain - Mississippi Queen
Less Than Jake - Never Going Back To Jersey
Sublime - Don't Push, Date Rape, Santeria, and Scarlet Begonias
311 - Beautiful Disaster and Feels So Good

Like I said, we are yet to record, we might not ever record. I just wanted
to do some shameless self-promotion. The new band is called Release. This
new band is a far cry from my original band. I think there's a few on this
list who have an FI tape (they can tell you that i'm the sheeyat on bass),
one of whom I think is Charlie (whoo hoo Charlie!). My old band was Sublime
meets RHCP. As funky as rich white boys can get! wow, i sound conceited.
what was i talking about?

may da funk be witchoo!

you, though. To paraphrase you, I think you should grow the fuck up.
