What a glorious week it has been. Being one of those pathetic digest rats
who has not sent more than two messages to the list in the entire two or so
years that I have been a subscriber, the last thing I should be doing is
using this glorious list as a vehicle for personal celebration. But I shall
do it anyway. I finally found the glorious SOMMS CD, which has been an an
object of obsession for me since 1995, at a used CD store. And all for the
gloriously inexpensive price of $4.95 (I only got the bonus disc, but oh
well). My apologies for wasting space; now I shall go somewhere else and use
the word "glorious" several more times.

Well, greetings once again to everyone on the list....

...okay, I guess I owe all of you an apology. I wasn't aware how strongly
everyone (evidently) felt about the content composition of the list. I guess
I was hoping more folks would see it my way, and although some of you do
support my position, the majority do not, and I should respect and honor
that. After all, I'm no less expendable to this list than anyone else, and I
don't wish to be kicked off of it. It's the best source for me to get
information regarding S O U N D G A R D E N, Chris Cornell, and all things
directly related. Bottom line: I apologize.

I'm hoping nobody bears any animosity toward me for prolonging this
(admittedly unnecessary) debate. I would like to thank everybody who
responded with intelligence, eloquence, and well thought- out points
supporting their position. I hope I can continue to interact with the folks
on this list as a fellow
S O U N D G A R D E N enthusiast, instead of as the troublemaker.

Thanks again to all of you for your patience. Later.

Sam

All i can say is the shows at the El Rey are gonna sell out quick. it's
a small venue and a perfect place for a concert. I saw the Afghan Whigs
there and it's a great venue. it has seats around the sides so you can
sit and have drinks with friends during the show. If i remember
correctly you can even get right up on the stage, no 5 food security
barrier to hold you back. So ladies.. get those flowers ready to throw
on-stage.

Ohh.. this had no soundgarden content. sorry.

Ahhh, the wonderful, the great, the best club in DC. At the 9:30 Club
it is almost impossible to have a bad view of the stage. The sound is
usually perfect. All age groups are permitted. We have met and
received some of our best autographs at this club.

Only bad feature of the 9:30 Club is it location (not the best part of
town), but for all the times we have gone we have never had a problem.

First off, where exactly is Town Hall in NYC? And second, where is the
