I saw the Afghan Whigs there and it's a great venue. it has seats around the sides so you can sit and have drinks with friends during the show. If i remember correctly you can even get right up on the stage, no 5 food security barrier to hold you back. So ladies.. get those flowers ready to throw on-stage. Ahhh, the wonderful, the great, the best club in DC. At the 9:30 Club it is almost impossible to have a bad view of the stage. The sound is usually perfect. All age groups are permitted. We have met and received some of our best autographs at this club. Only bad feature of the 9:30 Club is it location (not the best part of town), but for all the times we have gone we have never had a problem. Hey, hey, Toni - COME ON DOWN!!!
