Further to my email about Chris playing live at the ArtistDirect show, I
forgot to mention that anyone who votes in the competition goes into a draw
and could win an all-expenses paid trip to the show. www.bornonthewww.com

Well I got a handy letter from UBL today telling me about a contest for
unsigned bands, I believe. You had to upload mp3's of your band to them, and
it would be judged. Like battle of the bands. Anyways they had Chris listed
as a judge.I found that rather interesting. I think it's really cool that
he's doing that, and helping bands get a start. Very nice move Chris. I
wonder if he's getting payed......

I did initially intended to share my experience with SOMMS, but each time
I try to write something for the list it feels too personal. I do not
mean to imply that I am harboring secrets about Chris or Susan -- I have
none. It's just that I've been a Chris Cornell (and Susan Silver) fan
for many years and the ease with which they made myself and my boyfriend
feel welcome was overwhelming and genuine. The experience was simply to
personal for me to share. I sincerely apologize.
