Well, we all know Chris is the Disappearing One, so I guess he has powers
like Invisible Girl. Uses invisible force fields to keep his foes (and
others) away.

Hey everyone, this is only my second mail to the list in 3 years but I cant
hold this in any more.......

I just got myself a mint condition, still sealed copy (with the A&M
labeling) of Alive in the Superunknown from Tower Records!

Should or should I not open it???? That is the question....

Oh, and I also scored two copys of SOMMS... so if the SOMMS owner list is
still being run (by whoever it may be), could you add me to that... thanks!

I now have all of there album releases on CD! woo hoo....

Oh well thats enough of my ramblings.

Whoever is doing that SOMMS owners list you can also add me to it. It is an
awsome CD. How many copies were made of it?

There were 100,000 copies produced. I am curious to know if that amount
includes the SOMMS disks that are often available from used CD stores that
are just the SOMMS disk and not the 2CD set.

I believe there were 5,000 prints. It was supposed to be a radio only
promo but some got put out to the public via used CD stores and the
such.

I also have a copy, plus one of my old roommates had a copy.

Talking of Guitar World, has anyone else seen the Guitar World Alternative
Rock book? I was moseying round HMV on Oxford Street and I spied this book
with none other than Mr Kim Thayil on the cover! It's only got stuff in from
previous issues of the magazine and you can read the Kim interview on Seth's
site anyway, but on seeing Kim on the cover I beamed like a proud parent :-)

The publisher is Hal Leonard and I think it was around $17; I'm sure you can
pick it up at Amazon or Borders or wherever.

No. They have too much integrity and intelligence to become politicians.

Does anybody know where I could get an mp3 of seasons? This is the one of the
only Soundgarden related songs that I have not yet had the pleasure of
hearing. Please help!

Well, Aaron, do what probably all SOMMSters do, and go out and buy the
freaking Singles soundtrack. I don't think the philosophy of MP3's are to
create alternate ways to hear commercial music. Rather, they are samplers to
decide if you like the song, and if you do, support the band and buy the
freaking album...geez..
