first, a newsflash: CHRIS IS PLAYING 3 PROMOTIONAL SHOWS; IN NEW YORK, SAN
FRAN AND LA. THAT IS ALL. NO POST RELEASE TOUR DATES HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED, SO
QUIT ASKING ABOUT IT!!! *whew*! anyway...

a few days ago, i found i had some money left from my comic shop trip
(finally got my pull, grace!), so i went over to the music store next door. i
got 2 things; meatpuppets II (a fine record) and maschina- live @ the gold
dollar(a club here). my topic is maschina, a local band, and possibly the
reincarnation of soundgarden ...in detroit, though.

if anyone sees this cd, pick it up. especiallly if you dug ultramega.
maschina have a very different spin on art rock. it's comprised of an amazing
(matt cameron quality) drummer, a solid bassist, a really good singer (great
range, sounds classically trained in jazz) and ...the kicker... electric
trumpet. it sounds so frigging insane you would not believe it. if you see
it, buy it. don't let the glam image fool you.

SG CONTENT: i found where they "play the fish" on dotu! seriously, though,
i'll have something more sg centerred for my next post. i forgot what i was
gonna ask this time.

thanks
charlie
p.s. don't bother responding to my tour statement. if you feel the urge to do
so, count to 10 until it goes away. thanks.

I'm from the UK but I will be in the U.S. for a year, in Utah. Can anyone
tell me what the nearest Chris Cornell gig will be between August and
December or January and May? Thanks,
Furthertcb.

You poor thing! The chances of you seeing Chris in the Utah are just as high
for you too see Chris in the UK.
I live in NYC. Once the tour dates are official, I'm willing to turn my
humble abode into the NYC Chris Cornell halfway house in case anyone needs
it.
