Hey,
I doubt SG would re unite...because Chris has a comfortable solo project =

Great article Deb! thanks for that.. i love how it mentions countries other
than the US. I found the word Australia in there more than twice.. hehe
cool.. and tours in the UK in October? pretty good chance he will come down
under too then (hopefully).

So all of you who got cold feet about Chris' solo career.. what do you think
of THIS article?

i could imagine sg reuniting under a new name. since sg is already a business
entinty, they could come out as an indie band again. while this could be seen
as a bit pathetic, it'd be a bit more likely than them popping out on
interscope or whatever. i'm wondering if the b-sides will be pushed aside
until the boxed set comes out.

Yeah, I picked that one up a few months ago from e-bay. Basically they
play some SG songs and snippets of an interview done by Eleven (who else).
It's alright I suppose, especially if you don't have some of the b-sides,
like HIV Baby. Personally, I found it to be a waste of money.

what?? did i miss something here?? what's this hoopla about a boxed set??
all i knew of was b-sides...

and another thing... someone mentioned that SG probably WOULDN'T get bak
together, because it would be like a business thing?? i really doubt that...
because think about it everyone: don't you miss some things that you did
when you were a child, and you wish that you could do those things again??
well maybe Soundgarden will get bak together, because they miss it!!! i
mean, i'm shure if they got bak together, they wouldn't be concerned with
"business", other wise they wouldn't get bak together. i dunno, i just think
it would be dope as hell if they got bak together.

As of right now, the album is slated for a
September 1999 release date.

There are currently no plans to release the
Soundgarden B-Sides compilation.

awhile.....man that sucks

Oh come on..I really really doubt this really. The thing that really spurs
that thought is "Baddest Hits". Never in my life would a Soundgarden album's
name would be really, really stupid. It almost sounds like something Twisted
Sister or Poison or some 80's metal band would call an album. I want like,
real confirmation on this..

Dave

-Well u could probably put all of SOMMS on there but i remember Kim saying
somewhere he intends to do a box set that would include live tracks and
rarities. So that begs the question, if a box set does come out in a few
years or whatever what rarities would then make it to the b-sides album. I'm
willing to bet the some of the more popular rarities..here's what i would
like to see on "Baddest Hits"...

1)She Likes Surprises
2) Kyle Petty, Son of Richard
3)Cold Bitch
(three of my personal faves)
4)Toy Box
5)Heretic
6)Come Together
7) Fell on Black Days (demo version)
8)Dusty (Moby remix)
9)Show Me
10) Rhinosaur (the straw that broke the rhino's back remix)
11) Stray Cat Blues
12) Girl U Want
13) Karaoke
14) Into the Void
15) Birth Ritual
16) Blind Dogs
17) Like Suicide (acoustic)
and secret track....
18) Exit Sonehenge...lol
I'd like to see "Seasons" on there but thats probably more of a singular
"Chris" song than Like Suicide (acoustic) so who knows...

for what its worth...

Actually, it does sound like the sort of
tongue-in-cheek mucking about that Soundgarden are
known for. From the same mould as UltramegaOK and
Louder than Fuck (which at one stage they claim to
have wanted to call it).

Jay.

Y'know, I was really psyched for this late spring/summer because I was
expecting a new album from Rage Against The Machine, awesome concerts,
B-sides, and of course, Chris' solo album. Instead, the solo album and
RATM have been delayed to the fall, B-sides may not even come out, and
there are no concerts of interest to me coming to Boston. Unless, of
course, Chris decides to play one of our shitty clubs. God, I hope Jerry
Cantrell decides to do a small club tour...

I could definitely see the album being called that. I mean, c'mon, Kim's
the one who's putting it together. You know they all love that
tongue-in-cheek humor. I'm surprised they didn't call 'A-Sides' something
like 'Rockin' Grunge Tunes of the 90's.'
