Soundgarden Back?:
                                        Ex-Soundgarden singer
                                        (and probably the
                                        hottest man in rock)
                                        Chris Cornell tells
                                        Kerrang!, as reported in
                                        New Musical Express,
                                        (aren't we kind, we
                                        actually credit others)
                                        that there is a chance
                                        the famed Seattle band
                                        could get back together.
In the story, he said, "It's totally plausible that
we'll make another record whenever we want. I
think as soon as everybody feels equally
enthusiastic about it, we'll probably do
                     something."

I think everyone (well everyone that's commented) is
blowing this way out of proportion. He's not saying
that they will get back together, he's saying there's
no reason why they couldn't. We already knew that.
They may never get back together and if they do, don't
expect it to be next year or something.

Jay.

If this doesn't make you smile,
 you don't have to cry
If this isn't making sense,
 it doesn't make it lies.

Superunknown, Soundgarden.

well, i think if theyre gonna do it, it should be soon. im afraid theyre
gonna turn into someone like rolling stones, trying to play to supplement
their social security checks. theyre getting old now, i guess well have to
wait and see.

Hey guys

Mike's email pissed me off.. i hope you don't mind if i pick it to pieces.
:)

First of all, they are not old! I can't even remember their exact ages but
from the way you talk they're ready for walkers, wheelchairs and adult
diapers. One of them is embarking on a new solo career.. and you call them
old?? give me a break! Matt's just welcomed his first daughter into the
world... I repeat - they are not old!! If they can still spark attraction in
teenage girls, they've still got it! The Rolling Stones on the other hand...

Secondly it is only you who thinks it 'should be soon'. How dare you act as
though you know what their situations are. And as i specifically mentioned
up there, they are not old. There are no clocks ticking for them yet. They
have plenty of time to arrange a reunion. You should just be thankful this
band you (apparently) love is even talking about playing together again.

And lastly.. the day Soundgarden play for the money is the day i'm no longer
a fan.

Sorry for butting in, but unless Ray is a girl's name, then I'm pretty sure Matt had a bouncing baby boy...

Dave
