We all anxiously await the new album but we can wait with other music, just
wanted to tell anyone that hasn't heard of "Second Coming" to check them out,
they are a killer band from Seatlle

Second Coming are an absolutely dreadful band. Their name is fitting. Take
all of the industrial/metal bands you've heard in the past few years (bands
like Stabbing Westward come to mind), and take away any desire you might
have to hear something new and refreshing, and you'll enjoy Second Coming.

I saw them open for Monster Magnet last summer. Not only did their music
suck, the singer was a complete asshole. He made several tasteless remarks
about the female bartenders. Avoid this band like the plague.

Rock 'n' roll shouldn't just be like some feelgood movie that makes
you forget how dull your life is for an hour or so ... it should
fire you up to do something about it.

Yeah..Ive seen these guys like 3 times around the town, talked to them a lot
too. They totally kick ass, and if you think the album is good, the live act
is better.

I still remember when Mike Coleman first talked about them 2 years ag=
o in
the Alice In Chains mailing list! I immediatly ordered the indie cd =
they
had put out, got it with a written note from Y. Bacolas (bassist and
president of the group's label)... The cd was great. Made a lot of=
 people
listen to it, told them it would be all over the radio real soon. Su=
re
enough, nobody believed me out here (Quebec city). A year and a half =
later
(today), Vintage Eyes is one of the most requested songs up here.

To address Adrian's remarks about seeing a bad show... I remember se=
eing
Soundgarden do a pretty lousy performance out here in 96 (Lollapalooz=
a,
Quebec city)!! Of course, we can start speculating all over again ab=
out
what reasons caused these shows... But hey, everyone has a bad day he=
re and
there, and every band has a bad show once in a while. But I do under=
stand
your frustration Adrian. I saw Travis Meeks (Days of the New) last y=
ear
here in Quebec city. He entered the stage flat drunk and really scre=
wed up
the whole show (I had seen them do a really good one two days before =
in
Montreal). Watching the show felt like such a waste of time... At l=
east I
had seen a good one before!

take care
