I heard they are size 16 and you know what they say about a man with big
feet and double jointed thumbs!!!!!!

This is what I love about mailing lists. If you don't post people bitch
that no one is posting. If you do post and start a conversation they bitch
about wasting time. And Dave you wasted all that time writing about
wasting all that time posting about Chris' CD.....Go figure! I am proud of
my career here on Somms of wasting everyone's time for 3 1/2 years now!!!

And to Barb, Christi and Catherine. If I fantasize you all a show in
LA...I'm also working on an invite to someone's house or apartment and a
chauffeured ride to the show! And being that service is provided at the
Loud Love Motel I will expect nothing less! HEY CHRIS!!! We have a room
reserved for you!! Just give us a call! toni

This has probably already been mentioned before, but here goes anyway. I
was watching 'Wayne's World' for the first time in about five years and I
noticed that during the bar scene when the Jolly Green Giants are stepping
up to the stage, 'Loud Love' is playing in the background. Also, when
Wayne, Garth, and Cassandra are at Benjamin's house, 'All Night Thing' is
playing.

course, but I'm also looking for new music to get into. So I'm hoping for
some pointers to some really good bands that fellow SG fans enjoy. I've
already picked up on the bands I like from mainstream radio (Tool, Creed,
Monster Magnet, etc.), I'd like to make sure I'm not missing out on the
Mayfield Four's and Big Wreck's of the world. Any replies (private or to
 the list) are appreciated! >>

I'm sure every person but me on this list hates them, but LESS THAN JAKE AND

Oh sorry I forgot them in my last post. The revised version:
LESS THAN JAKE, DAVE MATTHEWS BAND, AND BELA FLECK AND THE FLECKTONES ARE THE
NEW ROCK GODS!!

sorry for stating the honest truth. Vic Wooten is the best bass player since
Jaco Pastorius.

What you talkin about?????? Dave Matthews Band kicks ass. Carter is one
of the best drummers around, yes he is as good as our dear Matt. And
Stefan plays an awesome bass. I've heard some crazy sounds coming out of
that thing that i have never heard anyone else do. And i won't even go
into how great of a guitar player Dave is.

I think he's better than Jaco. And nowhere near as arrogant.

Rock 'n' roll shouldn't just be like some feelgood movie that makes
you forget how dull your life is for an hour or so ... it should
fire you up to do something about it.

In a recent on-line chat, Rage Against The Machine's guitarist, Tom
Morello, had this to say regarding Soundgarden:

Moderator: Q. Which bands have influenced you the most?

Tom_Morello: When the band first formed I used to describe our music
as a cross between Soundgarden and Public Enemy. There's
obviously a healthy dose of punk rock in our sound as
well. The Clash are my favorite band of all time. And
let us not forget the mighty Black Sabbath.

hey sommsters,

I was wondering if anyone had any audio or video copies of the
following Temple of the Dog shows:

13/11/90 - Offramp, Seattle
6/10/91 - Palladium, Hollywood CA
13/9/92 - Amphitheatre, Irvine Meadows

Are there copies around or are they one of these rarities that I've
got no hope of finding. I'd really like to be able to see them live
and I'll beg/borrow/trade/buy/plead/do anything to get my hands on a
copy. Any help greatfully appreciated.

Sassy

P.S. Does anyone have the Soundgarden font?
