Personally, I think it is a good cause & I am glad to hear a sommster is
meeting him. I would donate that much money to an animals shelter or
even more. If I had it & if Chris happen to be part of the deal well
damn it that would motivate me even more. =)

I'm glad Vikki won the auction. She seems like a sincere fan, as evidenced by
her terrific photographs, which can be viewed on the Unofficial Site. I hope
she can use her camera during the get-together and, of course, share the
results with us.
I have no problem with the concept of the auction. I doubt Chris would
volunteer his time and interaction with a possible stranger if he didn't have
positive feelings about what he was doing. The charity is for a good cause,
and it's a dream come true for a fan to be in Chris's company and hear the
album we've all been anticipating. I'm sure Vikki will pass along all the
important details to us. Everybody wins.
Nobody seems to mention that the "prize" also includes a platinum record and
signed record jackets. Though surely this was not Vikki's reason for bidding--
"bottom-line" this is not a terrible investment.

Sommsters,

Heyheyhey, did anybody catch SNL on Comedy Central on Friday Night? I
believe it was 11:00 central. It was the episode with Soundgarden. So I
was like, "alrgiht! let's tape this thing!!" So I started to record,
haha, some funny stuff with Jim Carrey, and then came the moment I was
waiting for, Pretty Noose. Not too bad, Chris's voice was pretty shaky,
but overall a good performance. Then I knew they also did Burden in my
Hand, so I was anticipating that. So I waited. And waited. And waited.
Then they showed the end, and all four of them were there, but I was
pissed off!! They always show both performances when they do the cuts on
Comedy Central!! They did with crap bands like Seal, LL Cool J, and Salt
'n' Pepa (if you really want to consider those "bands", more like
crackpots talking through electric keyboards), so why not our frowning
boys??!? That really pissed me off. So was there some reason? Was I
misinformed that they also performed BIMH, or are Comedy Central editors
just assholes?

I appreciate any feedback.

Andy
