Check out www.fivehorizons.com/news - you can bid in a charity auction to
have lunch with Chris Cornell. A chance to bend his ear about the September
release perhaps :-)

Long story short:

There's an auction going on in Seattle for PAWS (an animal help group), with
items donated from bands like AIC, PJ, and SG.

BUT!!!!!

One "item" being auctioned off is lunch with Chris Cor-fucking-nell and a
chance to go to the studio and listen to him work on the album!!!!!!!!!
I say we start a SOMMS collection and get him to take us all to McDonald's or
something, then we just charter a bus to the studio and ROCK OVER LONDON, ROCK
ON CHICAGO!!! TCBY It's the country's best yogurt.

Let's get it on!

Subject: conspiracy theory

First it was September/October.
Then, Christmas time.
Then, April.
Then, June.
NOW SEPTEMBER?!?!?!

I'm beginning to think that there is NO album. It doesn't exist. Its
just one huge figment in all of our imaginations. Its a conspiracy.
There is no album, and even if it were real, from what I've seen, as
much as it hurts to say this..it's probably not very good.
Yes, I'm aware that I'm making a judgement call out of nowhere. We
haven't even heard the damn thing yet, and I'm still making judgements.
But, in fact, this album *does* exist, it better be the best album EVER
RECORDED.
Sure as hell took long enough....

Rachel* (IWISS)

PS--Dont hate me. My post was not blasphemy. I just say all the things
that some of you think, but dont say.

you people are joking right? right? please, tell me yes. as awesome as that
sounds, i think it's unrealistic. chris is gonna let 700 deranged fucks(no
offense) to a restaurant and into the studio while he's working? i don't
think so. but hey, maybe if charity means that much to him...

what the hell do i know,
Jimi
i haven't ended with a quote in a long time, but i'm gonna use my blind dogs
qupte that i used to use all the time because it is way phat
"that's what blind dogs believe, but i've heard that before"

Is there a soundgarden MP3 server anywhere out there? I'm really interested.
Also, if anyone has a list of Soundgarden items for sale I'd like to view it.
Mostly interested in rare vinyl. Would just love to find a copy of Hunted
Down/Nothing to say.

Thanks,
Barry White

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet... ...but you have to have
tickets to even attend the auction, and I've heard those are almost sold
out. And dont forget that it *is* tomorrow. I'd love to promise to get
the money to someone, but I dont know as i'm the only one here still a
little wary after the Nothingman incident? Time's not on our side.

This is bloody cool, found this on a music site. Lunch with Cornell
anybody?

                  Lunch With Cornell For Sale

                  Soundgarden fans looking for the
ultimate band experience can bid on lunch
with ex-frontman Chris Cornell. The meal
is being auctioned in Seattle Saturday
(March 6) at a charity event for the
                 Progressive Animal Welfare Society. The
                 lunch comes with a Soundgarden
                 platinum-record award. Also on PAWS'
auction list are a poster and photo book
signed by Pearl Jam and an Alice in
                 Chains platinum record.

Pitty it's only in Seattle. Cornell, what a hero
