He used to (maybe he still does) just sit in a corner with his guitar, a
pencil, some paper, and some pot. I specifically remember him mentioning this,
I think for Fresh Tendrils, but maybe he did for Rhinosaur.

<< I don't profess to know how matt cameron writes his music or figures his
drum parts. I'm fairly certain that he prefers to bang out riffs on his
guitar and then adds the drum parts afterwards. from time to time he may
even come up with drum figures and then try to work out a melody. I don't
know for sure. whatever method he used for 'rhinosaur' doesn't work,
though. there's a definite groove there, that much is for certain. but as
I alluded to earlier, it doesn't translate melodically. the guitars are
all labouring away for minimal gain. there's just nothing happening. >>

Subject: Announcement!!!!!

We would like to announce the wedding of Jamie Simpson (SOMMs Mom) and
Stacy Meyrick at the Fairfax County Court this February 19th, 1999. The
relationship began on this very list three summers ago, a list that has
been the catalyst for several relationships since it began. For this,
we would like to especially thank Seth for his time and efforts over the
years and all SOMMsters, both past and present, for making this list
what it is.

Thank you all.

With best wishes,
Jamie & Stacy

Hi~

I'm selling another item. I'm sure everyone has this, but oh well. I'm =
selling Screaming Life. It's black vinyl. As far as I know it hasn't =
been played. If it has been played, it's only been once or twice. Both =
the cover and the vinyl are in good shape. I'm selling it for 13$(that =
includes s&h). w/b if any of you are interested or have any questions.
