Ok. I heard this song the other day, it said on the tape that it's a
Superunknown demo song, is it true? Who wrote it, cause it's a bloody
great song.

If you kids out there read your liner notes from the Declaration
of Conformity CD by our very own Wellwater Conspiracy, you will
notice the name Art Bell in the special thanks list. In fact
he's listed as the first person. Well on 1/19/99, I called Art
Bell (a nationally syndicated radio-talk show host) and told him
about it. He just kinda laughed about it all, but at least I got
the name out there . . . (half smile)

http://ww2.broadcast.com/artbell/abell/9901/ab0119.ram

at about 3:55 in the show you can hear me very
(tiredly/exasperated I got through) telling art about it.

By the way, the Palomar Observatory (last track on the cd) is
often talked about on Art's show. The funny part is, is that Art
has to be part of the conspiracy now (although unwittingly so).
For those of you who don't know, Art's show is about UFO's,
MIB's, secret government conspiracy's . . . anything to do with
the paranormal and paranoid.

I work in a video store, and we have the 'No Alternative' video for rent.
Alas, there is no Soundgarden on it, as far as I can tell. The first time
I passed by it, I yelled out something like 'Holy shit!' and grabbed it
off the shelf. However, out of the many live performances they listed,
Soundgarden was nowhere to be seen.

Yes, there is a CD and movie called "No Alternative". On the CD, it contains
"Show Me" by Soundgarden and "Verse, Chorus, Verse" by Nirvana, along with
other rare songs from other bands. The tape, however, doesn't have either
Soundgarden or Nirvana on it, it has like Goo Goo Dolls and some other bands,
non-SG related.

Glad to help

Actually I have No Alternative on tape, and SG's on there.. I believe

thought I would let you all know that Soundgarden will be on SNL on Comedy
Central this Saturday at 11am.....they're playing "Pretty Noose" and "Burden
in my Hand".....was this their only appearance on SNL? Oh yeah, and does
anyone have the exact release date on Chris' solo album? I can't wait!

Yeah, they had been asked a couple times before, but declined. I heard
that they agreed this time because Jim Carrey had specifically asked for
them, since SG is his favorite band. They were flattered so that's why
they came.

Entertainment Weekly said May.

ugh!! please guys don't pay that much for it. unless you are truly desperate.
it goes for tons less on ebay and i've seen a few of them in person and none
were over $30. [yes for the purple]

$40 for black is pretty steep as well.
