A little unclear on that statement. Silenced by Seth? You mean, you couldn't even post to the list? >From: "rachel reisman" : >OH OKAY!...I finally understand what all of you 'veterans' are talking >about! All we have to do is learn how to kiss Seth's ass!..That's all >most of you do here anyway. Heheheh. =) Well...that's not true for most of us....some people seem to make a profession out of it though (you know who you are). I mean, I respect all of Seth's accomplishments and the fact he is even still running this list to keep us Soundgarden fans together....but you gotta draw the line somewhere... Every week day they do The 10:40 Coffee Break in which they play 3 songs by a featured band, ie. someone in the news, with a birthday, or whatever. Well, since they don't do this feature on Sat. and that was Matt's birthday, I was bowled over when for today's (Monday's, ok it's late here) was Soundgarden in honor of Matt's birthday! They played Spoonman, Pretty Noose, and Outshined. Also my review and pictures from the Mark Lanegan shows are up on my page now. It's a slow download, but there's a lot there and lots to look at. http://www.citynet.net/personal/sightsound/ Click on Aural Fixations. I just remembered why one of the quotes that I gave, cracked me up so much, when I heard it. This was back on the 94 tour and the Stone Temple Pilots had just released a radio single called Vaseline which recycled the She's A Politician guitar riff, so when Chris took that jab at STP from the stage, I figured that he must have heard that song as well. Has any member of the band ever commented in interviews about that, or any other rip-off songs? That would be a cool topic...what other SG rip off songs annoy you? ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 1 Dec 1998 09:43:08 PST From: The Koggle Subject: Re: **smooch smooch** >At 08:21 AM 11/29/98 PST, rachel reisman wrote: > >>OH OKAY!...I finally understand what all of you 'veterans' are talking >>about!
