I think it is evident that he has moved to the next generation of shaving. >> that's crazy man, it's the easiest thing in the world to shave your beard like chris does, even with a rusty knife like i do! DOTU RULES!!! GO MINORITY!!! ANYwhoski... WHY is everyone gettin into a big fuss over this superunknown/ranking hoopla?? i think we've all gone through it before with different forms of the media. let's face it folks. we're always gonna be known by absentminded folks as the "people who like that black hole sun band". it shouldn't be anything new. jakasses aren't gonna recognize the other amazing albums soundgarden put out long before or after superunknown. all we can do is raise our middle fingers proudly inthe air to them, and stop complaining. capeesh?? (can't spell worth a shirt) ***** << OK..I'm starting to get pissed off here...not only do you not care for other people's opinions, but you bash them at the same time. I get the picture that you're just a sad little man who just wants attention. You have abolutely no right to put down a person's ideas if it doesn't agree with your own. >> OMY!! now i hope no one sees this as bashing (if this is concidered bashing, then i don't know what is)... BUT doens't this section above seem the SLIGHTEST bit ironic??? just my observation... peace, love, hope, faith, soup and s o u n d g a r d e n always groovy, kathleen : )) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Nov 1998 07:51:55 EST From: Lance Huber Subject: Re: Matt live In a message dated 98-11-10 22:06:54 EST, you write: << It's just Matt. It's a live compilation of live songs from this years North American tour. (thus the title: "live on two legs"--west/east leg tours). >> Is it a double CD & if so how much will the price list at? Lance ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Nov 1998 07:54:54 EST From: Lance Huber Subject: Best Pick Not that anyone cares but CDNow has Soundgarden A-Sides as their best pick for the month and is also advance selling "Live on Two Legs". www.cdnow.com I've ordered a ton of stuff from these guys and they usually have stuff to your house in about 3-5 days after you order. Plus they are EXTRA cool when it comes to refunds if you ever need that sorta thing. Hopefully some good pictures of Matt, and another reason to buy the vinyl. -Ryan ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Nov 1998 17:49:01 EST From: Mike Liacone Subject: Re: Where were you 11-9-96??? 11-9-96, i was in heaven. though not a sommster, i was at the aragon that grecious night. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Nov 1998 17:58:17 -0500 From: Adrian Subject: Roseland Was anyone else set to go to the show at the Roseland in New York City, only to have it cancelled? I believe it was a few years ago this month...1996 maybe? I never got to see them. :-( __________________________________________________________ Adrian unity http://www.alfheim.net/~age/ age@jhu.edu Trance is my only escape... ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Nov 1998 23:17:25 -0330 From: Marc Hollett Subject: Soundgarden Covers Don't flame me for this. Soundgarden played 3 shows at roseland in 1996- nov.16th., 17th., and 18th. the one I went to was on the 16th., with a beautiful 2 hour long set, the one on the 17th. was cut short because something happened to chris's voice, and the one on the 18th. was canceled altogether. Bummer to you and everyone else who had tckets but couldn't go. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Nov 1998 18:07:38 EST From: Niki Freer Subject: Re: Roseland i believe i was riding through NYC on my way to some hockey game i had to play, waving from the window at the skyline and thinking "woo hoo!! my boys are in there playing!!" only to come home from that weekend and discover cornell's voice had crapped out and there was a possibility i wouldn't be seeing them after all.... so right about now... i was having a major/minor coniption reading my somms mail from the weekend. :) mindriot ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Nov 1998 15:52:20 PST From: rachel reisman Subject: somethings ill never understand Would anyone care to explain to me why a thread on Chris/Matt/Ben/Kim's razors and grooming habits are ok...while a simple question on Chris's middle name isnt?? That was only one of the best nights of my life, two years ago - the night I finally got to meet, and actually touch and talk to my hero. I only hope it won't be the last time I get that close to Chris. Toni I'm gearing up for Chris-fest - it has to come eventually. I would sure rather hear about people's memories of those nights than the crap we've had on here lately. Is everyone else on here really that new to the list?
