Now..if you're like me, and you like to celebrate Festivu..I mean Halloween with music, go out and purchase a Rocket From The Crypt CD. NOW. It will be the best thing you've ever done. On a side track. Rocket From The Crypt has now taken over Soundgarden as my favourite band. Anyone know anything about this..? -Arden ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Oct 1998 16:15:28 PST From: Arden SunGod Subject: ..another post.. Sorry about this.. but this is also from The Rocket 100 (most influential people in the NW music industry): "12. Susan Silver- Manager- Susan Silver is best known as the manager of Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, but few groups have come outt of the Northwest in the past decade that haven't had some involvement with this powerful and resepected manager. From her early years as a promoter of loacl rock shows (while working a day job at John Fluevog Shoes) to her years pushing Soundgarden when no one in L.A. would return her phone calls, Silver has exhibited limitless energy and an undying support of Northwest talent. Few mangers are as lotal to their artists as Silver and few in teh industry take as much pride in their work. Though Silver cut back both her responsibility and the number of bands in her stable a couple of years ago (otherwise she might have topped this list), she still does buisiness for Alice In Chains, Soundgarden (a B-Sides collection in planned) and husband Chris Cornell (new solo album in 1999)." not bad, if I do say so myself! She was beat out by the likes of Paul Allen, Ed Vedder, Sarah McLachlan, Krist Noveselic, Jon Poneman, Kelly Curtis, Peter Buck and a few others. No one from SG made it, but that's not a huge surprise, really. -Arden ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of SOMMS Digest - 31 Oct 1998 to 1 Nov 1998 ***********************************************
