Rock it Sister.....yes, my favorite gods smiled down upon me last night. It was only a half grin but that's OK....I'll take it. I was driving to work(now to preface my mood.) I have spent the last 6 nights working midnights. I have managed about 4 hours of sleep a day(if I am lucky) and I am so friggin crabby I can hardly stand to be in the car with my damn self!! Got the picture?? Anyway, the radio is on as always. The station plays a commercial with little snippets of songs(to show what great music they play..which is debatable most times) As the pieces of songs play I grumble to myself," I just wish they would play Soundgarden! to hell with the rest of this crap" The commercial ends and I hear a guitar wail the opening chords of................ RUSTY CAGE!!!!! I can't believe it! I wished a Soundgarden song and it came true!!!(and a great one at that!!!) THANK YOU OH GREAT SOUNDGARDEN GODS!!!! The accelerator smashes to the floor(one must drive fast for Rusty Cage) and the traffic just disappeared as I flew down the X-Pressway! It lifted my spirits and I got through the night!! That is what music you love can do for you. Changes a mood...picks you up or sometimes puts you down. I can't help BUTT be affected every time I hear Soundgarden's music. If only the GREAT SOUNDGARDEN GODS could arrange for Kim,Chris, Matt and Ben to bump into each other instruments in hand in a recording studio!!
