If you missed it it was theone BETWEEN those Beastie Boys videos. Secondly, I was thinking, as cool as it would be to meet the guys, I thought it would be much cooler to meet one of the people in that video like the preacher guy, or the Barbie barbecuing girl, or the sunbathing/fly-eating lady (cause she's hot). So far this applies to those in NY, cuz thats where I am... but.. how about a listing of everybody on SOMMS' bands? I mean, a lot of the people on this list probably make music and it'd be pretty cool to go see some of them play live. so anyway, if anyone got a band in ny that plays shows, or does not, but will, please E-mail me. I decided to go to more small shows and that means extra income/patronage or whatever. Inthe long run, I propose a list of SOMMS bands. That means anywhere you are or go, you can go see a good band play. Well, thats about it.... if this has been attempted before, I'm sorry. I need your help- especially you old SOMMSies who have been here for a few years or more. If you remember way back (yeah, reach back there people..) we SOMMies used to do interps left and right. And I'm not talking about that little interp revival we had a few months back. i'm talking back in 95/96. Now I know I was just a lurker back then, but there was always one interp that stuck out in my mind. I run the Official SG Interp Page, or have since Matt Artis was nice enough to give it to me when he left SOMMS. I've been searching the archives depserately looking for the Fresh Tendrils interp about chicken. You know which one I'm talking about! I dont remember who did it, or when.. it was sometime 96-ish, I think. I would love to have it on the page-- break up these dark brooding interps a little bit, you know?
