For those of us that feel compelled to vehemently defend the honor of our listadmin Seth from the recent attack (I posted the morning after), I have a tiny request. Please do not forward the offending message in your replies anymore. This piece of hatred has been posted as a forwarded copy at least 10 times. It was very upsetting to read the first time, and the continued publication is just a constant reminder of the first post. Make excerpts of the passages that you wish to contridict or defend. But please...I just cannot bear to read the 2 versions of "Seth is......" anymore. I hope this is not taken as a criticism, just something to consider next time. And I hope there is not a next time. Thanks Sarah ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Oct 1998 10:19:56 EDT From: Lance Huber Subject: Re: Helmet in the Bush In a message dated 98-10-20 02:30:23 EDT, nevernamed@INAME.COM writes: << Dogs, slaves, snakes, Mother, Sun. According to Alain Johannes, Chris' album is 'almost done'. (Hurrah!) Not so good news - Neither it nor Eleven's new album will include the track Someone To Die For (with Chris on vocals) that nearly made the Bond movie soundtrack. I hardly post to the list but i feel i should because I want all the canadian sommsters (and anyone else who gets muchmusic) to email them demanding they play the soundgarden spotlight. :) Only if you haven't seen it yet. But for those who haven't, please do so -------------------------------------- Marc Hollett mhollett@mindless.com http://home.avint.net/~rhollett ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Oct 1998 16:06:03 PDT From: The Cat Subject: Re: Chris' album near completion >From: Deborah Baker >Subject: [SOMMS] Chris' album near completion >Good news! According to Alain Johannes, Chris' album is 'almost done'. >(Hurrah!) Oh yeah =). And I'm serious when I say this, but Chris's album is the only thing I want for Christmas (tangible items, anyway). >Not so good news - Neither it nor Eleven's new album will include the track >Someone To Die For (with Chris on vocals) that nearly made the Bond movie >soundtrack. What is the inside news on that? How come it never made the soundtrack? It'll show up sometime, on a single from Chris's album someday. Wouldn't it be cool if Chris decided to release the album near Christmas week, with a bonus CD containing Ave Maria, Sunshower, Seasons, Fluttergirl, Someone to Die For, etc.? " i got an idea of something we can do with a gun " yea, shoot the security guard who didn't buy my sob story at the show. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Oct 1998 23:31:39 EDT From: Kevin Chang Subject: Re: Regrets I was at the Nov. 9, 1996 show; the night before. My regret is that I didn't even know about SOMMS! I went online a few days after, and I find this great unofficial website. Then I find out that people attending the show on this list got to meet Soundgarden...if only I'd known earlier... It was a great show, though, and I still feel very 'priviledged' to have had the experience of seeing Soundgarden live in concert.
