On my way to work I stopped at a grocery store in the small Indiana town I work in. I pulled up behind a shiny red pick-up truck and the license plate said, "Kevin's Mom" I chuckled a bit when I saw it. But that chuckled turned into a full fledged belly laugh when I saw this hotsy totsy dyed blonde suburban Mom with tight pants and a spangle jean jacket get in!!! What a sight for a 13 year old boy she might be!! Oh Well...when you are obsessed I guess these things amuse you!! toni ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 Oct 1998 13:56:39 -0700 From: Thomas Andrews Subject: Re: SOMMS Digest - 14 Oct 1998 to 15 Oct 1998 > Date: Wed, 14 Oct 1998 16:19:27 EDT > From: Tammy Read > Subject: Re: SETH IS A POOF > > In a message dated 10/13/98 10:39:36 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > psmallma@eisa.net.au writes: > > << HEY SETH, > > What the fuck are you on about? Is What blows my mind, is the contradiction I see here. Last I heard, gay males aren't all too fond of the certain part of the anatomy we refer to as the "vagina". But enough about that. To make this post somewhat Soundgarden-related, the other day I was thinking about the last time I saw Soundgarden (Lollapalooza 96 in Dallas...no, Ferris). I didn't know then that it was gonna be the last time I'd see them. (I had tickets to the 96 Boston show in November, but that got canned cuz Chris was sick.) And now I feel sort of bad because I wasn't paying 100% attention to what was going on onstage. It was hot out and I was tired from battling tens of thousands of people who all wanted to crush me. And of course, there was the time I saw em in Rochester, was within yelling distance of Kim and Chris and too scared to say anything to them, and I'll never have that opportunity again...does anyone else have any regrets about the way they handled themselves at their last Soundgarden show? Think you should have waited longer backstage after the show to get an autograph, etc?? Weird topic, I know, but...oh well. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 Oct 1998 14:38:09 -0400 From: "Steven Russell Jr." Subject: Matt - The singing Yardbird Hola List! I just received my copy of Wellwater Conspiracy's new 7" "The Compellor" b/w "In Pursuit of Gingerbread Man". As the others have reviewed...it's a very cool song in a 60's sort of way. For $3.50 you can't go wrong! I also picked up the new Mudhoney 7" and LP. Included with my order was a Mudhoney baseball card!!!!! How cool is that :) Anyone have a Beat Happening and Wipers to trade? hehe In case some of you were wondering what Matt sounds like, I would compare his vocal stylings to Keith Relf of the seminal 60's band the Yardbirds. The vocals to the new WWC single sound similar to "Heartful of Soul". Okay...maybe two of you actually know what the Yardbirds sound like :) So, this post is for you :) steve - heavy rotation: sloan, snowpony, mudhoney, SDRE, JaMC, mercury rev and swervedriver - in the DVD player: Evil Dead II - on the turntable, new mudhoney 7" and WWC 7" ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Oct 1998 04:06:36 +0800 From: Raven Nation Subject: up for da count fellow bleeders, am starting am e-mail drive down here in da philippines....there's dz fm radio station, nu107[http://www.skyinet.net/nu107], which has a count going on....ye can e-mail midnightcountdown@yahoo.com & vote for 'room a thousand years wide'.... - rvn ' we can bleed together ' --- soundgarden ***** Tagline 98 - V 1.1.29 Beta for MDaemon 2.7 ***** Support the Peso, Buy Filipino. ***** Tagline 98 - V 1.1.29 Beta for MDaemon 2.7 ***** Philippines First Free Dial-Up E-Mail at www.teammail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 Oct 1998 16:23:46 -0500 From: "Mike I. I listened to it, and thank God Soundgarden made the song better!! Sommies.. My take on Satan Leaf.. OR Explaining Australian Slang The cheese thing is NOT typical Aussie-ness. I repeat.. that is not commonly used down under. Some people just like their food... Alot... The 'tiny dick' comments are from inadequacy or possibly jealousy. It happens alot with Australian men. My boyfriend is Canadian. 'Chickens juicy vagina' probably is the extent of Satan Leaf's knowledge of the opposite sex. Again.. my boyfriend is Canadian. 'Root' means 'to fuck', and it is very common in Australian slang. It is no wonder the Canadian company 'Roots' hasn't opened its doors down under. No doubt the clothes would sell like hotcakes. He is obviously unaware that he has no way of getting back on the list once he has been a big brat to Seth. That 'Arab cunt' stuff?? Pauline Hanson (who is a xenophobic, closed minded, racist politician of Australia) indeed..
