Where? After Chris sings "Jesus is my friend", he sings "And I like it, love it". It sounds like the line from Alice Cooper's '18'. I was able to view the first clip in the record shop with Quicktime. Anyone with advice, please e-mail me personally at traeger@bms.com. Thanks in advance! Kinser" Subject: SOUNDGARDEN and M2 I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not, but if you go to the M2 website, there is a section called "create". What this is is a place where you can program your own hour of M2. They give you over 1500 videos to choose from including "Jesus Christ Pose". If your hour is chosen, you are notified by E-Mail as to when it will air. I don't think anyone on this list would have a problem filling up an hour worth of videos. I'm pretty sure there are at least six Soundgarden videos to choose from. Ok, I was at the Seattle pj concert, screaming my lungs out at Matt, and he smiles and waved.. and I did some little gesture (I have no idea what it was or what it stood for..), and he started laughing and after that song he told the security guards to let me up on stage!! So I sat back by him and watched him for a while.. and at one point he asked me if I knew how to play any pj songs..and I said, "Uhm, yeah, I know 'Alive'." Well, he grinned and went up and talked to the others for a minute, and Jeff came back and started talking to me about the beat of the song..and then they went on to play "Evenflow". But when "Alive" came along on the setlist, Matt left! He just went backstage and sat on the little orange couch! So Eddie came back and said, "Uhm, it looks as though we need a drummer." And next thing I knew, I was playing "Alive" with Pearl Jam!!! Eee!! It was the most exhilerating feeling.. and then I woke up to "Spoonman" on the radio. Hopefully this is a start to a good day. ;) take care everybody! punk ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 15 Sep 1998 13:43:49 -0400 From: jenny grover Subject: yet more Ben news Article from the Rocket (thank you Angela): [NXNW and the party afterwards at Satyricon] celebrity sightings included former SG bassist Ben Shepherd who was readying himself for his stint in support of Portland folk fatale Pete Krebs later on. also: Seattle's Irregular Records has finished mastering its forthcoming Johnny Cash tribute album - "Americana: A Tribute to Johnny Cash". Hey y'all, (And Niki) Well, for more info on Drawing Flies, go to http://us.imdb.com/Title?Drawing+Flies+(1996) . Apparantly it also features Kevin Smith of Clerks/Mallrats/Chasing Amy/Dogma fame...and now, Drawing Flies... someone should make a listing of all the movies that have titles from SG songs...or is that done already on the Unoffical FAQ?..
