Ok I was bored and was looking for some Mother Love Bone lyrics on the web and came across a page that had some info and pictures from an upcoming movie/documentry about the late Andrew Wood, they had some stills from the movie one of which was from an interview with Chris Cornell http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palms/2856/Ccornel.gif My question is this a recent picture? My mind wants to think its a picture from somewhere else, like I saw it somewhere before but cant think of where.... Its buggin me. http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palms/2856/andymovie.html Above is a link to the whole page... I hope this hasnt already been talked about on here, I'm sorry if it has. --------------------------------------------------- Get free personalized email at http://www.iname.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Aug 1998 03:08:47 -0700 From: niki freer Subject: Expect a full report!! >From me tomorrow sometime about Friday nights' Philadelphia Pearl Jam show............... but for now, as tired as i am, all i can say is wow. wow. wow. Pearl jam never was a band i really went head over heels for, even when i decided not to hate them anymore (hated them until no code) BUTT they blew the roof off tonight. i'm not going to saturday nights, so i hope some lucky sommster is. i had to pay $100 for my damned ticket, but i was only 20 rows back dead center and i had a HELL of a view (when the pot smoking, rap dancing, girl humping frat men in front of me calmed down) of MATTHEW D CAMERON!!!! :) matt, needless to say at all, was so fucking amazing that my chest hurt. i stood huging myself and the air between me and matt and holding my arms out to him and grasping my twisted fork till my hands hurt so bad i'd thought i'd poked through them. :) yeah, i got emotional. i've never heard anything as good as the version of "black" they played tonight, lots of matt drum fills and rolls and twists and turns and hoopla. :) matt also added a quick and simple and probably pretty much unnoticed little fill during "leaving here" that made me scream to my friend. "woah did you hear THAT?!?!?!?" :) but matt's most shining and beautious moment came when the band played "immortality" that was a kind of extended version that ended with this matt drum solo with all the lights off except for directly on mr. cameron and i was........... speechless and couldn't breathe and couldn't think and couldn't even MOVE to the music. amazing. i have to go to bed. my legs hurt, my butt hurts, my eyes hurt, my brain hurts, my head hurts, my feet hurt and my heart aches for the soundgarden. :) more soon.............. mind riot _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. I am a huge fan of both Soundgarden and Pearl Jam and since I am only a relatively new fan of Pearl Jam I was wondering about the whole Matt Cameron druming with Pearl Jam thing (Please forgive my dumbness). How come Mattt Cameron is druming with Pearl Jam don't they have a decent full time drumer or is he just total crap. Would somebody please fill me in, but remember that I am only new to the world of somms so please go easy on me -thanks. Seeya Greg P.S if any one has any Soundgarden rarities or B-sides I would be interested in talking with you even though I probably have nothing to offer return but you never know I may have somthing so any way its 4 o'clock in the morning in Australia and I have to go now so bye. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Aug 1998 17:12:34 EDT From: James Connolly Subject: screeching falsetto hey everyone you know what really sucks? i try and try to sing "gun" but i just can't hit the high parts like "til the bombs explode" you know? also chris often uses a rules sleek shrill falsetto for his screams i guess. i mean, no one could sing the middle of beyond the wheel in a chest voice right? No!!! Imposible. if someone wants to tell me otherwise, please do. that would be crazy if anyone could possibly sing that high in a chest voice jimi ------------------------------ End of SOMMS Digest - 29 Aug 1998 to 30 Aug 1998 ************************************************
