Alrites, about all this B-Sides hoopla. Like I said before, I think its a good idea. I am in a losertown, where there are no SG rarities to be found. And in all the losertowns around me, its the same fukin thing. So, three cheers to B-Sides!! Considering the fact that I am not in any fan club, and I had to dub all my SG b-sides off of LittleJoe, when he visited. So screw all who think they're too good for B-Sides... On a more disgusting note, I would have more respect (considering all is gone) for the losers who CONTINUE to cry and whine about the word "anywhoski", if they would email ME directly, instead of the damn list. alrite?? If one stupid word bothering people that much, then dont read my fukin posts!! It's that fukin simple!! Good gravy... This is Kathleen, the AnywhoskiLoserQueen, saying: "I'm pleased to fuk up yer day" peace, love, hope, faith, soup and s o u n d g a r d e n always groovy, kathleen : )) ps: isnt cynicism a wonderful thing?? ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 5 Aug 1998 08:36:07 -0400 From: Anna Mincieli Subject: Re: (no subject) Unfortunately, Chris never did any vocalizing with Jeff Buckley. Oh, how I would have loved to have heard that, being also a fan of J.B. However, Chris did help arrange "Sketches". Well, I was looking at amazon.com for the HOme Alive compilation (which they do have, by the way) and found an import CD called CD Clock for $16.48 or so. It is labeled Audio CD, so it's not a clock, I guess (and why would they have that anyway? don't ask, I'm tired). Anyone have any idea what it is? AS usual, there's no more information. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000009EOX/qid=902347467/sr=1-14/002- 1510074-5183659 If this link doesn't work, just search for Soundgarden and scroll down to the Imports section. ~~Laura ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| AOL IM: MmMmCelery or BITEmyNOSE ICQ UIN: 4394726 (Lumberjill) Homepage: http://surf.to/Lumberjill ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 5 Aug 1998 18:12:49 EDT From: B L Subject: B-Sides Since everyone is probably sick of hearing everyone else's opinion I'll just ask these questions. Is this B-Side thing just another threatened rumor? Did Kim mention it in a recent interview? Has A&M or whoever the hell would release it said anything official? I know we've been over this whole thing before, and since then nothing has happened. Is this the same situation, or has something more recent and at least semi-official come up about it? Apologies if this inquisition has already been dealt with. Just wondering if I should bother getting in a tizzy... Went to the R& R Hall of Fame on Monday. Much to my dismay the Seattle/Grunge display has been taken down for now. I had searched that place high and low (with much loud complaining from my kid) for the picture of Chris at age 9. So I finally asked at the information booth and they told me they rotate exhibits and that one went off display in February! :-(((( The only Soundgarden stuff I did see was......a Soundgarden poster flashed on one of the large screens that continually show clips of bands and singers, a 92 Spin magazine cover with Chris on it and in the movie(of the history of Rock and Roll) that shows upstairs on the Hall of Fame floor called "It's only Rock and Roll" They flashed the scene from BadMotorVision of Chris in the van opening his mouth real wide at the camera. I couldn't believe it. I yelled CHRIS and clapped loudly!! My family was embarrassed!! OH WELL!!! Accept the fact that your Mom( daughter, sister and aunt )is a helpless Soundgarden freak of nature!! The Girl can't help it!!! toni ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 5 Aug 1998 18:58:32 EDT From: Shawnte Orion Subject: Almost similar to a song interpretation Hey, everyone I just wanted to see what you guys thought about something. I know that everyone has already discussed their interpretations of Sunshower quite thoroughly. I know that a lot of people felt that it was directed toward the SG fans (which seems very likely to me) and some people felt that it was written to Susan (which I dont necessarily agree with), but I've always wondered about whether it was written to Kim, in a way. I have always felt that Kim was the one person who had no interest in disbanding, since he never really desired to work on outside projects or write with anyone besides Chris in mind. He is also the only one who hasnt pursued much un-soundgarden projects after the breakup. So, I can see Chris considering it to be "Kim's garden" (which he continues to tend to....weeding through the vaults in most of his time now). Lines like "I feel the healing in your sting again" have such peculiar insinuations to me. Has anyone else felt this way? Keep it in mind, next time you listen to it and tell me if you agree at all.
