Essentially, Corgan was whining about the fact that he's never in the middle of the pictures of his band... that he's not the cute one. Then he starts to whine on about not being successful. Kim, being the cynical realist that he seems to be, rips on Billy a little, reminds him that he's successful, and asks him if it matters that he isn't the cute one. Billy, insulted, starts to walk away, and Kim says something to the effect of "Going to call your therapist?" The next day, Corgan walks by Kim, donning a tee-shirt with the big Superman S (described as the one that your 4-year old nephew wears), holds a hand over his heart, and says "You hurt me right here." Now, let's think about the situation from a Soundgarden fans vantage. Why WOULDN'T you want to take an opportunity to rip on Billy Corgan? Or do you like men that sing like schoolgirls about schoolgirl topics? ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 7 Jul 1998 17:42:28 EDT From: Troy Black Subject: Re: I think I'll turn it back around... Hopefully I'm just being paranoid and everything is okay, but I'd be surprised... thanks, and sorry for any inconvenience, seth/listadmin ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 7 Jul 1998 22:40:49 PDT From: William Flanders Subject: Boot Camp Since the sommswaves are silent, I figured I'd say something. I was just listening to a live recording of Zeppelin's No Quarter... and guess what. That's the link to the past for "Boot Camp." Surprised no one has mentioned this...
