Keep in mind that Electrical tape is a soft flexible rubbery tape...not a thread reinforced heavy duty all purpose tape. Boy sometimes useless knowledge really does come in handy... I couldn't tell you if Hiro was a good bassist or not since he didn't show up at the Metro Club in Washington, DC last Saturday. No explanation, no warning, they just let people sit until 2 in the morning enduring three other bands that were really poor, only to have some guy that no one knew play the set. We weren't the only people to walk out on the set, a group ahead of us made the comment "I bet it wasn't the guy from Screaming Trees either".
