If anyone does have a copy, where did you get it? I've been looking around fair Sydney town and no luck so far. My search continues..... Dave ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 8 Jun 1998 11:34:36 EDT From: Matt Hammons Subject: SOMMS Brainteaser #2 I guess the first one was a little too hard folks, sorry. For those interested here is the correct answer: 1) "The Hand of God" 2) "Like Suicide" 3) "Zero Chance" 4) "Somewhere" 5) ??? WHICH OF THE FOLLOWING SONGS COMPLETES THE ABOVE SEQUENCE?? AND WHY??? A) "Dusty" B) "Searching with my Good Eye Closed" C) "The Hand of God" (again) D) "Outshined" E) "Drawing Flies" The answer is in the time signature for the FIRST bar of each song. Hand of God: 3/4 Like Suicide: 4/4 Zero Chance: 5/4 Somewhere: 6/4 So the answer would have to be a song in 7/4 which is of course "Outshined." Thanks to those who answered, here's #2: WHICH SONG DOES NOT BELONG IN THIS GROUP?AND WHY? "Jesus Christ Pose" "Boot Camp" "Spoonman" "Like Suicide" "My Wave" ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 8 Jun 1998 12:12:50 EDT From: Charlie Mccutcheon Subject: luck, man, it's luck man, i cannot believe myself sometimes. last week i found the loud love single w/fresh deadly roses. yesterday i found (and am in the process of purchasing) an SG 45 with "everyone's got something to hide..." by the beatles, and "thank you (for lettin' me be myself again)" or something like that, by sly & the family stone. i put down $5 of $25. this is the only time i've ever seen it, and i didn't even know they coverred "everyone's got something to hide..." so, yup that's it. it sounds like a fair price. is it? charlie PS anyone want to buy my album? reply privately for more info. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 8 Jun 1998 19:10:23 EDT From: Albert Kim Subject: FLOWER 3" Alright here are the facts: about 3 months ago at a record show here in Atlanta i spotted something I had never seen or even heard of before, a "Flower" 3". Upon returning home, a couple of things started to hit me, I had never seen 3" vinyl for one------could this be what everybody wants but just doesn't know it yet??? Or am I just a naive idiot? If anybody out there has seen or heard or this thing please let me know that I wasn't just seeing things. ---Al ------------------------------ End of SOMMS Digest - 8 Jun 1998 to 9 Jun 1998 **********************************************
