I would also suggest that it was another case of Chris putting himself into another character's persona (like Mailman). So, the possibility that I am proposing is that he was slipping into Mark David Chapman's mindset. Going to kill one of Chris' idols, John Lennon (all those SG Beatles covers). Besides, the BHS music is a very "beatlesque" sort of vibe. Chapman snuck around Lennon's hotel preying on him like some venomous snake, but acted like another "fan" (even getting Lennon's autograph)...."In disguise as no one knows." In fact, he really did grow up as a huge Beatles fan..."The sun in my disgrace." "My youth I pray to keep." He saw Lennon as a "sell-out" and a "phony."...."Times are gone for honest men, sometimes far too long for homicidal psychos like Mark David Chapman!!!!" (sorry) "No one sings like you anymore (not even YOU, you phony!) Chapman believed that he was doing it for god...."Heaven Send Hell Away" I believe Chapman did express remorse after doing this..."Hang my head." If you leave the list, Koggs....I'll still exchange overly-obsessive analyzations with you and o6z6zy.... later p.s. why the hell does Chris even have to tell people that its not a happy song? What idiots actually thought that it was a happy song???? ------------------------------ End of SOMMS Digest - 31 May 1998 to 1 Jun 1998 ***********************************************
