I had never realised it was this rare. Can anyone tell me how many copies were made of the blue vinyl pressing of Louder than Live? They seem to be playing everywhere but Buffalo! Go figure :-) To check out the entire list goto: http://www.thickrecords.com/bands/truly/tour.html The opening band is Menthol. I've never heard of them. Steve - The new Jeff Buckley CD, _Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk_ is awesome...I highly recommend it. Chris Cornell is mentioned in the liner notes as helping pick out a couple of the tracks for the complilation. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 26 May 1998 23:27:59 -0600 From: Kathie Subject: Re: Coolness.. more like UNcoolnesss Geoff wrote: > I realise it wasn't clear, but my point was that Dave's suggestion was not > only egocentric, but unrealistic. This was a good point, Jeff. But I do think we're being a bit hard on poor Dave (jaded veterans that we are). I'm sure most of us wish some of the same things he does. The thing is, when I wrote that letter to Silver Management back in 1996 I never dreamed we'd be invited to actually meet the band (but I had ALWAYS hoped to someday do so). My request was for some kind of "recognition" of us as fans, you know, a nod in our direction or something - and look what happened. Granted we're not all buds with Chris, Kim, Matt and Ben now, but it was a dream come true for me. Let Dave hope, who does it hurt?
