That same little treasure is going for $65 on the 'net. Woohoo!! (Haha, beat ya to it Amber. ;-) I see there was another Matt chat recently. Gee, thanks for bringing my name up Christi. ;-) It's always good to hear that Matt remembers me. Were you doubting that I met them? A bit jealous, perhaps? MuHahAHHAha!! Never doubt the power of the hootchie!!!! Christi: "Do you remember Shroom? Did she really meet you guys backstage?" Matt: "Yes, we met Shroom in Texas." All I have to say about this is "Duh." :) (I must protect my honour as the official SOMMS/SG hootchie. ;-D There may be imitators... but never settle for second best.) I'm very modest, too. Ain't life just grand, kiddies? xxoo -- Shroomy www.oneton.com "Why Shroom, of course I remember you!! In fact, I still carry the picture of you spanking Chris' naked bootay on that glorious night in '96 around in my wallet. See? It's right here next to the one of me in my coconut bra..." ~ Matt Cameron ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 14 May 1998 18:14:46 -0500 From: Geoff Subject: #sommsfest Was Re: #somms How bout one in Atlanta? He used to do a butterfly thing with his hands, with his thumbs hooked together. Anybody know what it means? Could it be ASL? I would bet that I'm not the only one. Duh! Actually, 'envy' would be more of an appropriate term for it. Christi ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 14 May 1998 23:22:40 EDT From: niki freer Subject: Desert Sessions/Queens of the Stoneage reviews hey sommies. i was checking out good old AP during my break today and flipped through the massive quantities of album reviews they do per month (a personal fav attribute of that mag) and stumbled upon reviews for the Desert Sessions CD for Vol I and II and for the Kyuss/Queens of the Stoneage split CD. Both were very favorable, though i think the guy who did the Kyuss/Queens review though that Queens of the Stoneage was the name of the disc. = ) ah well, he still loved it all the same. The Desert Sessions review was just as good a review as it could get. Does anyone have Vol III yet? Jenny? how is it? what the hell was the name of that one..."Set Co-ordinates for the White Dwarf," right? secondly, a very cool book reccommended to me by my big bro ;-) has been made into a movie, and i suggest y'all go see it. "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." or at least read the book. very cool, very funny, and it's where the Desert Sessions got the name of Volume II- "Status: Ships Commander Butchered." so go find it. = ) mind riot _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
