He played perfectly, but I think (if they were going for a new song) Brain of J would've been more entertaining. Not to take away from Matt or PJ, far from it. It's good to know that Matt's still out there, since Hater and Wellwater have been a bit quiet lately. ;) "So flutter home, cause you're better off without me.." pUnKy ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 2 May 1998 18:55:03 +1000 From: Koggle Subject: A cool page.. I writing this cause I might not be able to get in there, and I'd like some dude to ask me a question for me. Anyway..if you're gonna do it, please do me a fave and ask Matt the REAL reason SG broke up. No "we need a break" answers anymore..I'm sick of those damn answers. I wanna know if anyone's ego got in the way of making and playing music. I mean, don't you wanna find out as well? If we get Matt to answer correctly...maybe we can get a shread of hope that SG will or might get back together. Oh, and ask why SG didn't announce a farewell tour/album before splitting...to make it fair to us guys who never got a chance to see them... Okay, maybe this isn't big news (I don't pay too much attention to posts like th is myself, so that says something): I was looking around amazon.com 's new CD store. I whimsically searched for Sou ndgarden (they have the Flower EP, Songs from SU, a few other goodies), Wellwate r Conspiracy (only $12.99 folks), and then Chris Cornell. It had one "result." Apparently, *somewhere* "Sunshower" is going to be released as a single. I have no clue what the b-sides are (they're not listed), and the website isn't comple te yet anyway. Here's the exact URL: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/music-at-query/002-6093185-1759663 or you can go to www.amazon.com and search for "cornell, chris" Have fun, SOMMSters ~~Laura (Lumberjill)

The disc is gold on both sides, which looks purdy. It's the same kind of golden CD you can buy for a CD recordable drive. Just wondering..... The reason for them playing "wishlist" is most likely because it is the new single. (makes senses.) Pearl Jam looked nerveous. Anyway it was nice seeing him again. BUTT I have to agree it wasn't much of a challenge for his GREAT drumming! I have a Matt related question. What exactly is he playing throughout Black Cat?? That tinkling sound?? Sounds like a child's xylophone to me! I listened to the song several times this week and I am stumped! I finally heard Matt on Flying Traps this week(thanks j even if you aren't on the list anymore to read that!) MAtt looked pretty cool last night , but while I was watching it I realized how much I missed Soundgarden, becuase it was so awesome just to see Matt. Yeah, it wasn't very challenging for Matt to play that song but I hope he'll do his magic on the Summer Tour which I'm going to on June 27th!!! (Hmm... I wonder if They'll play a any SOundgarden cover Songs) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 3 May 1998 15:47:42 +1000 From: Greg Dunbar Subject: Re: NoThInG bUt ThE bEsT fOr ThE gOlDeN bOy At 12:07 2/05/98 PDT, you wrote: >I have Fresh Deadly rarities, and I was just wondering (since I don't >have many SG boots) if anyone else's boots are on a gold disc.
