Although it is anyone's right to discuss non-Soundgarden related stuff or Chris Cornell's middle name, most of us subscribed to SOMMS to get away from the petty back-and-forth conversations that plague other lists and bulletin boards. Even though they sometimes are of interest to me, I know I can find that kind of information somewhere else. If those are the things you want to talk about, there are plenty of places to go instead of here. Seth has already explained why he will not post Matt's message to the list. I have never read it, and yes, it drives me nuts when I wonder what he said, but I respect Matt's request. Remember, this list would not be here if it weren't for Seth, and neither would the website. So don't push it just because you can't understand the purpose of the SOMMS mailing list. If you have a personal problem with Seth, you should e-mail him personally and express your opinions in a mature manner, not attack him through the mailing list. Apparently, you seem to be the only one that finds fault in Seth's enormous efforts. If there was a major problem, more people would have picked up on it and perhaps it would be resolved. Although I do think we should be able to discuss anything even remotely SG related, I respect the fact that it irritates some people to see post after post arguing about something as frivilous (sp?) as Chris' middle name. It looks to me that you are just jealous that you didn't get to see Matt's post. Hey, I was a subscriber before April 9th. I had problems with my ISP and had to cancel, then re-open my account.
