A dear and generous friend just GAVE me the advance cd promo for Flyin' Traps. However, there are no liner notes. The featured drummers are listed for their respective songs, but none of the other musicians are listed (bassists, guitarists, etc.) Is this info up online anywhere, and if not, does anyone have this info who could e-mail it to me? I would be greatly appreciative. Jen ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 Apr 1998 06:56:07 -0500 From: Kathie and David Subject: Chris Cornell Newsgroup Proposal Hey all, I just sent a proposal to alt.config for a new newsgroup devoted to Chris Cornell. This group would be not only for discussion of Chris' music, but also all those fantasies and dreams we are discouraged from discussing here (that's not a complaint, just a statement of fact). So please head on over to alt.config and express support for this new group. I think its high time Chris had one of his own! I used Seth's site, the official site, and The Temple of Chris Cornell as references. If anyone else has a special page dedicated to Chris let me know and I can use it in my newgroup message, if I get that far :) Kathie ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 Apr 1998 07:15:38 -0700 From: Gene Candelaria Subject: Re: Chris Cornell Newsgroup Proposal now, who's gonna do the unofficial CC web site? -- gene Kathie wrote: > > Hey all, > > I just sent a proposal to alt.config for a new newsgroup devoted to Chris > Cornell. Usenet is truly horrible. No one posts a message on the same group twice except for the hoardes of spammers geared to ruin any sound dialogue. Just look at alt.soundgarden. That group is a disgrace to the band. Anyhow, good luck. Where all the CHRIStians can go goo-goo and ga-ga as much and as often as they want. It would be encouraged. Oh, Temeku Christi... Isn't it about time? I can't imagine how disgusted the band would be to hear that, at least that shit isn't circulating on the list these days. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 Apr 1998 20:32:55 -0500 From: Kathie and David Subject: Re: Chris Cornell Newsgroup Proposal You know, I'm not exactly sure what you're so pissed about (unless you have a filthy mind). All I meant is that the newsgroup will not discourage people from writing about their "feelings", whatever they may be. I just wanted people to know that if its accepted it won't be a place where we only discuss tabs and concert reviews - so I guess you won't be joining us :) Morgion1 wrote: > << Cornell. "trying though i know its wrong" ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 Apr 1998 23:56:32 EDT From: O6z6z6y Subject: Bootlegs & Setlists I was just wondering if anyone had a good audio or video copy of June 22, 1994 at Bender Arena, American University, Washington, DC and a good audio copy of November 20, 1996 at Patriot Center, George Mason University, VA...I tried alt bootlegs (got the 11/20 vid), but the others I have yet to find. I was there so it's a sentimental dilly. On to setlists...I realize there's the Bootleg Discog, but that basically covers CD's and some vids. Wouldn't it be groovy if we could get together an accurate group of setlists & dates for all Soundgarden shows that ever occured...kinda like the DeadList, but this would be the GardenList. Just a thought. L8r ~^v^OzzY^v^~ ------------------------------ End of SOMMS Digest - 14 Apr 1998 to 15 Apr 1998 ************************************************
