Well, it only took a YEAR from when they first advertised them (and I ordered and paid for one) until they got a design that worked and got it printed up, but I finally got my Wellwater Conspiracy t-shirt today! On the night of the breakup last year, TallicA played here in DC with COC opening. COC heard about the breakup and dedicated a song to Soundgarden preceeded by a brief speech. Just wondering if any of you TallicA/COC boot collectors know what they played. Before I get nailed for being off topic...I've searched for a COC newsgroup (even hit up the TallicA group but got no response) and can't find one. If there is one point me there cuz I'd dig being there. Nevertheless, any ideas? ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 3 Apr 1998 18:35:05 PST From: Arden SunGod Subject: Soren's question Well best guess is it's pretty noose.. take a look at the release date.. it's 13/05/96 .. that would make it a little under two years ago.. sorry to spoil any hopes! ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 3 Apr 1998 22:17:14 EST From: Nothng2Say Subject: Re: Soren's question This is short but sweet. Notice how in that mysterious single selection under genre there was no listing for soundgarden? That is one of the greatest compliments the band has ever received! ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 3 Apr 1998 20:39:55 PST From: Star Pancake Subject: BHS Lounge I thought the BHS lounge version was cool too...until Steve and Eedie or whatever (the people who did it) were on Rosie O'Donnell... they played a clip of the original, and then the lounge one. And Rosie had the nerve to say, "Oh, I like that one MUCH better!" Grrr... That kinda pissed me off, even if they were her guests and she might've just been being polite, but STILL... :) "...entering without a sound..." Punky PS I still think its a perty cool song ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of SOMMS Digest - 3 Apr 1998 to 4 Apr 1998 **********************************************
