I got the shirts I ordered from the Christmas card today (7 in all) and stuck to one of the shirts was a note saying that the fan club welcome package was mailed off the same day in a separate envelope and I got it today too!! I'm so happy! :) :) :) I'll tell you what's in it in case there are people who have already joined, but will send in the $12 bucks again to get this. :) Or in case anybody else is considering joining. Plus I have a question about one of the items. In this particular welcome package, there is a white t-shirt that says Soundgarden in black on the front and there's black around the neck and sleeves. There's a black and white promo photo of the guys (it's on Seth's site though it may be in color. I can't remember). Two guitar picks, one of which has CC's signature on the back (it's on Seth's site too). A Soundgarden pin. A VIP sticker from the '96-'97 tour with the date 12/17. A b&w SG sticker and an Artists for a Hate Free America sticker. A welcoming letter, several pages on the history of SG and some FAQ's, pages containing the SG discography and another order form to order stuff. And the one item I have a question about...it's a bird...it's a plane...it's the SOUNDGARDEN CALLING CARD!!!! So does anybody know the deal with this thing? Is it real? Has anybody here used it? Is it really AT&T or somebody? Expensive? What??? :) Just curious. I guess the *real* reason for me posting this is to let out some of the joy I'm feeling so I don't bust! Thanks for listening! May Soundgarden be with you. I heard from somewhere that it was about a life or death struggle(hope no one already mentioned that). I guess it was translated into chess terms. I still havent seen all of it but so far it rocks. It kinda gives Soundgarden a whole new dimension. I saw the Artis clip. That guy's AMAZING! It made me wanna do that so i tried with two tablespoons.. didnt do so hot. I'm getting better though. Anyway, enough rambling. Its good. I recomend it. My two cents. Bye. ./dead sailor\.
