Someone wrote to the editors asking why former groups such as Nirvana continually get attention while SG quitely went into oblivion without much recognition. Good points. So what does the magazine do? Print a little picture of the band. No article, just a little picture. Quite the tribute. Now that's effort eh? (this season i've heard My Wave, Pretty Noose, and maybe more) I think somebody at MTV may enjoy hearing Soundgarden after all. ..my two cents ./dead sailor\. It's the same kind of thing and as far as I can tell, rare, seeing as it was only released in New Zealand and Australia. I got it in England last summer imported from Australia. It kicks ass. I almost wet myself when I found it. It made my summer. The circle contains Mark Dancey's signature (the BMF artist) it has a copyright symbol and syas "Dancey '91". This can be seen on the vinyl sleeve... "my brother's room mate is best friends with the bass player of soundgarden...." and i asked, "ben shepherd?" and she said yeah. she also (eventualy) said something the along the lines of "i heard a rumor he [cornell] was getting a divorice...." i found that almost insulting.... also, i went to the music srore the other day and they had some country singer (male) playing.... when all of the sudder i hear "with a hand of broken nails..." and i think "this cant be it..." and then i hear, (with a slight country twang) " i'm gonna break my rust cage..." well i neglected to ask who was playing, so i dont know, but whom ever it was, they did a cover of rusty cage, perhaps some one does know who this was...? --grace ".....i feel my luck could change......" ------------------------------ End of SOMMS Digest - 1 Mar 1998 to 2 Mar 1998 **********************************************
