Gotta love the guy!!!! :-))))) toni Now if he would only pick up his damn guitar!!!!! ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Feb 1998 17:50:41 EST From: power child Subject: chris cornell was with pearl jam in maui!!! so remember i posted a long time ago that i heard that chris cornell was going to open for pearl jam in maui and i was bummed i couldnt go. then i heard that mudhoney were opening anyway so whatever. today i went to this cool pearl jam page and read their reviews of the maui shows and look what i found! > During the Mudhoney set, I notice that the guests side-stage are > greater in quantity than the night before. Figures; everyone wants > > to see Neil. I do see a short, dark-haired woman that looks very > > familiar, so familiar I borrow the binoculars from the guy next to > > me to scope her out. At that moment the crowd jostled, so I gave up. > Only later on, when a friend was regaling me with tales of backstage > did I realize who it was: Susan Silver, former > Soundgarden manager, who was accompanied by her husband, none other > than Chris Cornell! in case anyone was wondering this web page is like seths in that it has good information and is almost never wrong... (hope seths still exists) the url is http://www.fivehorizons.com - go to whats new and there is a link to the maui review in there. it's at the bottom of the second page of the review (there are cool pj pictures in there as well so it is worth going through the whole long thing) ~powerchild ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Feb 1998 18:10:11 EST From: SubPop77 Subject: Re: Top 1000 I read it too, and i think it was Led Zeppelin: Stairway to Heaven ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Feb 1998 19:05:48 -0500 From: Dave George-Cosh Subject: Boots, and Chris Hey there, I popped in my local indie record store, and lo and behold, a Soundgarden BOOTLEG on CD-R called Nose Bleed. It was recorded live in San Fran in 1988. It's got a fewer cool songs, but most are from UOK. But that's cool. Anywayz, if anyone wants to trade for something, tape for tape, e-mail me. And, I heard Chris went to Maui to check out PJ. Do you think Chris might miss performing, gettin' all wild about JCP or something like that? I know for sure I would. I mean, 14 or so years of performing and more or less, loving it, and quitting for a year. And after you go to a concert with some good friends, for god sake's, you just wanna go out and sing your freakin' heart out! I feel kinda sorry for all of them...and I still believe that the chemistry is still there, but the only thing to do is to wait and see. If any member of SG reads this, I know Matt does, for god's sake, do an interview or something, tell us you're gonna do a post-farewell concert or something. Put your differences asideI Stop acting like fools! Play! Love! Sing! Or let us know that everything's cool, that you're gonna play again...come on! Send an e-mail to Seth and forward it here...like Matt's famous e-mail.....PLEASE.. SHOW US SiGNS YOU ARE STILL ALIVE!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, I'm just feeling really bad after listening to my boot...never seeing them really makes me feel like shit...
