Anyone out there know of a web site where we can find out the 'going rate' for rare vinyls so we don't get ripped off? Thanks for you help! I paid $10 Aust. for mine and I think 10 - 15 is about all I would end up paying... 2 songs.... yes its nice to have in the collection but it comes down to just how much you want to throw at that collection, some ppl would of course throw it all :) Don't know of any places for going rates, you just have to take a guess and think if it's worth the price for you to have. I always ask, do I really have $$$ just for a record to display...... (mostly i never have enough money) :) As for going rates, only thing to offer is shop around...look at different vinyl prices and see what different shops value them at to get some idea of what items are worth. Anything above $20-$30 I feel is asking a bit much for most items. seeya Lee ***** DEF FX/ GARBAGE/ SOUNDGARDEN/ SONIC YOUTH/ RHCP/ SPIDERBAIT/ MAGIC DIRT/ ATARI TEENAGE RIOT/ REPUBLICA/ GRAVELRASH/ PEARL JAM/ FREE KITTEN/ ANGELFISH/ ICQ UIN: 1592130 http://student.uq.edu.au/~ar303921 "I'm sorry I was cruel, I forgot to kiss you..... He further proves that he is the greatest all-around musician in music today. Hearing the song brought me to thinking... What if Jerry and Chris toured together. It would be incredible. I'd pay any price to see that. Chris could even ditch Eleven and play with Jerry and his band. Just a thought... Gallagwar By the way, does anyone know the title of Jerry's album. It sounded pretty weird when the DJ said it and I couldn't remember. Of course, most of the soundgarden merchandise was more expensive in Seattle than elsewhere. I would say if you can find it for less than $50 in mint condition you should go for it. Anybody else? I just got the freak o' my day just a bit ago. Today I went on a little (well not so little) CD shopping spree. I bought some interesting stuff (I'm the guy that goes in, buys Roy Orbison, Biohazard, Bach, & Johnny Cash and leave the cashier wonderin' what the hell my deal is). One disk I bought was House Of Pain's _Rise Again_. Well I'm ridin' along, hardcore pimpin' with the phat bass shakin' and I get to track 5...a little ditty called "Earthquake". The sample starts kickin' and then Everlast starts to flow...all is good. Then about :40 into the jam is where the shock comes in. Here's the line: "...So why dontcha come critique me when I'm not on stage / Cause I'm gonna break, I'm gonna break my-y, rusty cage, my rusty cage / Watch the way I freak it when I bust my gauge..." Needless to say I had to rewind and do a double take, but sure 'nuff that's what he said. Anywhoo I dig it.
