This was in our newspaper today, part of an article about upcoming album
releases:

Chris Cornell.
The powerhouse behind Soundgarden, the Seattle grunge-era rock band that
disbanded a year ago, will test solo waters this month.  Cornell
recorded demos on his own but will probably draft sidemen to flesh out
the sound.  The still untitled album won't include "Sunshower", his
contribution to the Great Expectations soundtrack. (Late 1998)
