Leco" Subject: The Cornell Brothers In a couple of recent posts, people out there have been talking about Chris and Pete writing some music together. This is the first time I've heard anything about this. Can someone please fill me in or let me know if I'm just imagining it. Also, I'd really like to hear some of Peter Cornell's music. Since I'm no where near Seattle, it's kinda hard. Does anyone know of a place that I can hear it on-line? I did hear one of Inflatable Soules songs over the net, but it was a bad file and I had trouble really hearing it! Thanks for your help! Seems to me all these disks are strecthing the 74 minute rule to damn near 78 minutes. I didn't worry about _A-Sides_ cuz I have all the trax so it wasn't worth the hassle, but the other two I sent back to their respective companies and got back disks that function...if you bitch enuff they even send you a prepaid mailer. I just read this on Music News of the World, and I thought that y'all would be interested too: Former Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell is busy writing material for his debut solo album. Cornell is scheduled to enter a studio in April to begin recording the untitled album. I wonder how long it will be before the album is released. Life Rules! Let's get that straight. If someone would have paid more attention and stop spreading stupid rumours, we would be OK. Peter Cornell is working with CHRIS, the guitarist from QUEENSRYCHE (sp?). I don't remember who, but I remember someone posted a newsgroup message advertising the sale of SOMMS. Well, I took no time in replying to the person and I just got the CD today for only $20!! MM.... I think there's a list of people who have SOMMS, or I heard something about that, so I guess now I get to join. Now, a question. I don't have BMF by itself, so I was wondering, and this question only pertains to those of you who have both BMF/SOMMS and BMF, how are the two different other than the obious SOMMS addition on the sides. Is the BMF CD differenf? I had two distractions, however: one, I was driving and I was late; and two, the station does not come in very well down here, here being about 50-70 miles south of Tampa. Anyways, not to appear ignorant (although I am), I'd like to ask if Sunshower is available in any sort of media form: online, CD, CD single, etc. Thanks in advance. Like someone said, it probally has something to do with the fact that it is over the 74 min limit, and some CD players dont recognize it. In the name of sanity, can we PLEASE stop taking an informal survey of who has CDs that skip and who doesn't? If your CD skips, clean it. If that doesn't work, clean your CD player. If that doesn't work, buy another copy. If it still doesn't work, take it up with A&M. But let's have no more of it here. -seth/listadmin ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 3 Feb 1998 21:35:32 -0600 From: Jon-Paul Andolina Subject: Re: A-Sides Skips -----Original Message----- From: Dave Lewis To: SOMMS@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Date: Tuesday, February 03, 1998 8:18 PM Subject: Re: A-Sides Skips >Jenna Freemon wrote: > >> Hell i thought i was the only one who's song skiped. >> >> Jenna :o) > > I think I may have the only A-sides CD in the world that doesn't skip! >One of my friend's has one that skips though.
