Even though last night was the first time i heard it i felt like i've heard it before. hmph.. weird. Anyway, Mudhoney was good. The majority of the show pretty much sucked. Any how, I made myself (and Cool Edit) the whole album of Declaration of Conformity on MP3. Seeing how I have only 10 megs on my server, I can only upload 3 at a time, (keeping in mind these are in full quality). So, if you want to here the Wellwater Conspiracy before ordering the CD, or you just gotta have the MP3's...check out my site at: http://www.golden.net/~cosh And go into the MP3 area. If you don't know what MP3's are, or need a player, I have WinAmp v.1666 on and a link to the Official WinAmp site. And one more thing, after getting my MP3's, all that I ask of you is to either a) E-mail me b) Sign my guestbook. And it's not Seattle Sub Pop bands, it's like Radiohead, and a bunch of more obscure bands. Radiohead's cool, but not worth $120. Leco" Subject: Subpob Singles To answer Incessant Mace's questions: Coincidentally, I just signed up for it yesterday. If you're in the U.S. it's $70 for 12 months and $40 for 6. It's a little more expensive if you're out of the country. It's a little expensive, but that's $70 over 12 months, which is less than $6.00 a month. Who can't afford that? It's also for a rare vinyl each month (rare as in you CAN'T get it anywhere else.) Someone posted to SOMMS saying that it was a bunch of obscure bands. What was Soundgarden during it's Sub Pop days? How many people knew of them outside of Seattle? And since they are rare and on colored vinyl, they have the possibility of becoming valuable. And they said they may re-release rare singles from their original club. Which means it could be SG or maybe another now well known band. But chances are it'll be worth something. Anyway, you can find out more about it all at: http://www.subpop.com/ And there's a number of ways to pay. I did it over the net with my favorite plastic. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 1 Feb 1998 17:59:05 EST From: Nadia Standard Subject: Info on Cornell Ok, I just heard that Queensryche is getting rid of their guitarist (name escapes me now) and he is joining Pete Cornell in recording an album. And I have to wonder how rare these are going to be. It's only rare if it's released in small limited quantities. The whole thing seems kinda cheap to me. Not to take anything away from anyone who is joining, because I know I'll regret not joining when they release something by SG. I just can't help thinking that I'm going to end up with a bunch of Zumpano coasters in the end.
