"Great" Undies? hey you guys! ;) here comes a late night, silly post about the Monkeywrench Radio.. . now that we KNOW our Chris is performing... who was it that started the rumor that CC's middle name was JOHN??? ;) sillies! we all should have just guessed that it was James! er, or maybe the guy running the MWR site is wrong, who knows. all i care about is the man is ON the show...gives me a real reason to listen and tape it. *sigh!!* ps- i happened to really like the movie Great Expectations a great deal. it reminded me insanely of things i've gone through and still am going through. sad sad movie, but very nice... except where they decided to stick Sunshower (not that i wasn't thrilled to death to hear the song...it's slowly growing on me again). butttt....UGH! the first sex/intimate scene??? please!! the last thing i want to associate with Sunshower is Gweneth Paltrow's undies! ;) mind riot ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Jan 1998 10:27:56 -0600 From: Rebekah Henderson Subject: Wah! My hard rock station isn't broadcasting MWR. Even after I bugged them about it! I guess I'll be listening to it via the internet. My question is, and it's probably a stupid one, can I record the broadcast anyway? Is there some miraculous way that I can record it even though it's on the internet? I already figure the answer to this is no (though if you know an answer that's different, please tell me!) so I'm going to say this now, whoever records it I WANT A COPY! I've got alot of stuff to trade. May Soundgarden be with you. Rebekah ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Jan 1998 11:29:47 -0500 From: Deborah Servey Subject: Soundgarden vinyl for sale!!! Ok, list, phase 2 of our moving sale is about to begin! We have some Soundgarden vinyl to offer. We simply don't want to move it or have duplicates. You can email me for the list....I was going to try to post it to the list but don't have time right now to retype it. Maybe tomorrow, but until then, I can send it as an attachment to anyone who emails me. later....deb ps--anyone who bought posters from me, it would be real helpful for our recordkeeping if you'd include a list of what you wanted when you send your $$!!! I'mm selling off multiple collections and it';s getting confusing!!! thanks!!!!! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Jan 1998 11:05:04 -0600 From: Bill Flanders Subject: Re: Wah! What sounds like a layering of percussive sounds is actually the Ben that likes to spit : ) and Gregg Keplinger (Matt's studio drumtech and creator of renowned steel snare drums) joining Matt on various percussion instruments. If I remember correctly, Ben was playing Matt's floor tom, probably beating the hell out of it. Try drumming, it's cheaper than a shrink..safer than a gun. ---Later, Al ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Jan 1998 19:15:47 EST From: Maria Joseph Subject: Re: MWR on DC101.... IMO - I think it is a 'table tennis' game, but it's just repeated twice. But then we must ask ourselves, what is the meaning behind this so called table tennis? ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Jan 1998 22:21:44 -0800 From: Ken Casey Subject: A sad yet great day...
