Yes, there may be a contingent of woo girls out there, but they probably haven't stuck around this long (once BHS dropped off the charts) and are not likely to be found in great numbers on this list (and if we catch wind of them we will seek them out and, well, deal with them in some unsavory way). The fact that ALL the SG guys are attractive is just a bonus in my book. And even in that department we don't all prefer Chris. But, I mean, what IS it with this way of thinking? Props to my girls Nikki and Miss Jenny Grover! *luvins* Ugh, why do girls always get stuck in that category? Sometimes we are seen as people that can't appreciate music. I can't speak for all the girls on the list, but I can speak for a handful...WE RESPECT THE GODDAMN MUSIC. We are fans, not GIRL fans, same as everyone else. I admit to being a damn Soundgarden hoochie, but fuck it, I have my reason, and I have to agree...they are all attractive. Seriously, if I didn't know Kim and saw him walking down the street, I wouldn't look twice...but that guitar...it's so beautiful, and sexy....I'm in it for the guitar dood. And he's mad chill too. I love the way the guys play...so what if we were caught up in Chris's looks, it was just something someone noticed, and we all shared our feelings for it...sorry if it isn't up to par with the way the boyz run things...but maybe we're all a lil bored. Girls can rock and yes girls are capable of liking something for reasons other than "girlie things"!!!! I agree that most girls on this list look a little further than their looks, clothes, and whatever else you put into that sort of stereotype. If you think about it, how many guys on the list even comment on things like Chris' hair, even take the whole aging issue that alot of guys took part in recently. So that leads me to believe even guys notice and give thought to stuff like that. But to say that we like them for Chris only, well that may be one of thousands of reasons why, but it goes way further than that. I sent him a note and tried to help him out and see our side of things, and I do hope that the other guys on the list dont have the same impression. Chris is great, but that makes me feel so bad for the other guys the way Pablo said that, they aren't so bad either!!!!! I can't express correctly because of the f... language problem! I didn't mean that the only reason for a girl to like Soundgarden was Chris (I wrote it between parenthesis). Even my ex-girlfriend likes him but she loves their music above all. I was surprised because you can imagine the music tastes of most of my class mates (women) at the university: dance-music, Brian Adams, Kenny G, catalan rock :(, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey... (I respect them but I hate that kind of music). Then I meet A GIRL who likes SOUNDGARDEN, who says that she likes "TY COBB", "SEARCHING WITH MY GOOD EYE CLOSED", ???????... Was it real? By then I didn't know anyboby who liked SG and just the first one was A GIRL. It was DE PUTA MADRE!!!! (please, tell me an equivalent for this very coarse Spanish expression that means that something is very, very, very, very good, it can hardly get better, it's almost perfect, and don't use this expression for a Southamerican person, because he/she will probably catch a different sense since madre=mother and puta=whore). I guess it does not make sense for an Englishspoken but, sincerely, it means what I said. Anyway, I consider myself a very open-minded person. I don't like topics, so don't expect me to think that SG is the appropiate music for machos and Brian Adams for sensitive girls. I'm sure there's somebody in the world who likes both (although it's difficult, but...). Some people here in Barcelona get astonished when I tell them that I like Soundgarden. SG is considered a heavy metal band for heavy metal GUYS. I dress in a quite standard way, so I am not the stereotype guy that likes hard rock who that people expects to find. What I mean by this is that, here in Spain, a woman listening to SOUNDGARDEN is seen as non girl-like attitude. I know just one, my ex (sure there have to be many more). So I thought it was great, and amazing at the same time, to find so many WOMEN in this list. My best wishes for all of them (and for all you guys, I don't want any other hostile reaction against me).
