Matt was cool though and it was nice to see the guys under the tree, the picture is cool too, Chris looks awesome, and about the whole Chris getting old thing, I really dont think he is ready for a nursing home just yet!!!!!! I knew it was love when he cut off those gorgeous locks and I still considered him the most beautiful man on earth!!!!!(That usually pisses me off) But he seems like a guy who will age gracefully and looks aren't even the whole beauty of Chris!!!!! Sure everyone worries about aging, but I really dont think he is one to really obsess over it as the guys never really took on your typical rock star attitude, which is another reason why I love them. I wonder what Chris would say if he saw this whole debate????? Oh well, maybe someday we will find out, but Chris still rocks in my humble opinion!!!!!!! Help me someone, let me out of here!!! Then out of the dark was suddenly heard Welcome to the Home by the Sea Coming out the woodwork, through the open door Pushing from above and below Shadows with no substance, in the shape of men 'Round and down and sideways they go Adrift without direction, eyes that hold despair Then as one they sign and they moan Help us someone! let us out of here! Oh, living in here so long undisturbed Dreaming of the time we were free So many years ago... Before the time when we first heard Welcome to the home by the Sea Sit down... sit down!!! Sit down, sit down... sit down!!! As we relive our lives in what we tell you... Images of sorrow, pictures of delight Things that go to make up a life Endless days of Summer, longer nights of gloom Waiting for the morning light Scenes of unimportance, photos in a frame Things that go to make up a life... Help us someone, let us out of here!!! Cos living in here so long undisturbed... Dreaming of a time we were free So many years ago... Before the time when we first heard Welcome to the home by the Sea Sit down... sit down!!! Sit down, sit down... sit down... sit down!!! As we relive our lives in what we tell you... Let us relive our lives in what we tell you... Sit down, sit down... sit down!!! Cos you won't get away, no with us you will stay For the rest of your days - sit down!!! As we relive our lives in what we tell you... Let us relive our lives in what we tell you... i know to some, both the words & music may seem very 'un-chris'... it all depends YOUR interpretations of his songs/what they mean to YOU. T*H*O*U*G*H*T*S????? couple months back i recall someone said they'd love to hear him do 'in the air tonight' - that one's on my list too - no. 9, 10 maybe. and now to..... entering::: i'm entering, without a sound i'm entering, on wings i've found a million miles of covered ground i'm entering, entering yeah well i'm entering i'm entering bleeding hearts, two lights, goodness, stable glass on bars won't hold me back without a sound or a thought i'm entering i'm entering struggle... that's what soundgarden & nearly every one of their songs mean to me... struggle, fight, and finally triumph... most especially triumph over the demons w/in our own minds. love, passion, zeal... true love - love of oneself..... strength, stubbornness, resolve..... soundgarden & their songs to me aren't earth, but the heavens. thoughtsthoughtsthoughts????????? more tomorrow.....
