One of many SG songs chock full of double entendres. Fun, isn't it? Anyway I've just got a couple of little things to mention otherwise I think I'm gonna burst.....I must tell someone who cares! haha Anyway, I recently bought the 1998 Soundgarden calendar....and correct me if I am much mistaken but isn't Soundgarden one word? This calendar has it as Sound Garden.....Notice the gap in between the D and the G on the front cover?.....tch tch tch....That's all I can say. And on that note, did anybody else get 2 Novembers like me?...haha...I opened it up only to find the exact same pages twice in my calendar...hehe at least the others are there....am I just a lucky boy? Us Aussies are a deprived lot hehe. I'd waited ages to hear that as Rusty Cage is a song that is special to me. I'd just like to say that it made me chuckle. Well done Johnny! Except I think you left out the part starting "Hits like a Phillips head into my brain". Otherwise a good effort. This CD claims to be from "The Interview Collection" and I thought upon purchase that this would be great to listen to as it was recorded in 1989. But to my disappointment the members of Soundgarden interviewed were Matt Cameron and Jason Everman. Now Matt is a legend, nothing wrong with him, but Jason (Pay to Play) Everman??? Half of the CD was occupied with Jason talking about how he was picked by Chris and Kim to be the new SG bass player (and how long did that last? haha) after he'd been given the boot by Nirvana. I'm sorry, I just expected that at least Chris or Kim would have taken part in this interview. Anyone else feel the same? Dave "The truth don't look that good on me" P.S. I can't find SOMMS anywhere. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 26 Dec 1997 21:52:49 +0200 From: Tammy Berkowitz Subject: rarities Just got my Fresh Deadly Rarities fresh out of the post, this is as good as A sides, but all non LP songs (except for She likes suprises). Soundgarden played their last concert ever, here in Hawaii almost one year ago. That is one night that I will never forget!! Pearl Jam along with Mudhoney will be here on Feb 20. They're playing at the same venue in Maui that Soundgarden played their first concert while here in Hawaii. I'm looking foward to a great show. Maybe one of the guys will be there to cheer little Eddie on. Aloha....NC ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 27 Dec 1997 00:20:14 -0500 From: NIKI FREER Subject: Kim's Guitar World...
