It's part 2 of a 2 CD set...I don't know what part1 is. Hey Hellboy, I sympathize. Everytime I'm in over in your part of the world, the damn Brit radio stations play the same damn songs over & over again! And they all suck. I guess they're just really excited to have some Brit uh...musicians that have been heard of outside of your islands! -----Original Message----- From: SIMON 'Hellboy' ROBERTS <973790971@97.HUMBER.AC.UK> To: SOMMS@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Date: Saturday, December 06, 1997 9:09 AM Subject: Metal in the dessert/ YOU JAMMY BASDIDS! Hey there! Cat, over here the Burden... single came in two CD formats. CD 1 came on it's own with Karaoke as the b-side but CD 2 came in a slipcase with Bleed Together, She's A Politician (YUK!) and an Interview with Chris Cornell (about touring the UK again) as the b-sides PLUS a full poster of the of the photo you were talking about. Just thought I'd let you know. Incidently, you lot don't know how lucky you are to get SG songs on the radio, over hear no one gives a shit as their all too preoccupied with Oasis, The Spice Girls and that fucking Chumbawumba song. I may never get to hear Sunshower and Ava Maria without having to forking out lots of cash for those overpriced soundtrack and x-mas CDs *sob*. Just be gratefull, there are others in the world less fortunate than yourselves (like us poor misguided Brits). It is extremely rude and very poor form to send large files to the list...DO NOT SEND .wav, .mp3, or .exe at any time ever...pisses me off to have my mail lagged because someone decides to send large files...it you have something that is so end-all beat-all that you think ppl simply cannot go another second without hearing it, then post an address or ftp site for ppl to go to to download this file for themselves...personally, i have already gone to the website to listen to this wav...for that matter, i beleive somewhere in the rules and regs of this mailing list, it states that you are not to send files to the list and can be unsubbed for doing so... On my particular email system, when an email is sent with an attachment, it is with an option to download. If you don't want to download it, you don't. Apparently it doesn't work that way with others. I assumed I was doing a nice thing and it was not my intention to piss you or any other person off. I also think it was "rude and in poor form" to take this up on the list rather than privately with me. Seth, if it was in the rules not to send wav files, then I humbly apologize. No more wavs - promise. Angela :-( ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 6 Dec 1997 20:04:16 EST From: Jeffi29 Subject: Re: Sunshowerless? But am I the only one on digest that just gets code I can't decode? I suggest giving a URL to point people who want to hear the clip to where they can do so. But I'm getting a bit annoyed at waiting forever for a digest to download with only 5 messages and an undecipherable sound clip. If there is some way for me to extract these files from the digest I'll stop complaining, but I doubt it (if anyone on digest is doing it, please let me know how). Sorry this isn't SG related, but its bugging the hell out of me. Kathie ------------------------------ End of SOMMS Digest - 6 Dec 1997 to 7 Dec 1997 **********************************************
