    No, it wasn't Jason Everman, it was some guy named Jeff Ament.  But
he sucked so they kicked him out.  I think he's in some other band now,
but I forgot their name.. . Hope this helps..

In answer to the Fiona's question... I have this 7" and it is a bootleg. I
think that Seth has the cover on his site somewhere..ya might have to dig for
it, but its there.

A Sides: I picked up last night.. it was so great to be buying a new ( well
it sorrta is =) ) Soundgarden item... I just wish that it wasnt a compilation
but something that I had never heard.. <sigh> ahh.. what any of us wouldnt
give for something truly NEW! .... anyway I wont bore you on how I feel that
old soundgarden induced depression creeping back... 'cuz I know that you all
know what I am talking about... Its just listening to A sides made me
wonder.. why didnt more songs off Ultra make it? I think they could have
added at least one more song from that album just to kinda balance it
out.Maybe Beyond the Wheel,He Didnt or Head Injury???? Also, how about the
track listings ... not that I dont like the way that they are set up or
anything. Its just kinda jarring to me thats all.... its like your all in the
groove of BMF and then *BLAMO*  here comes Spoonman...its a brake and
downshift, at least for me...anyone else?

I also wanted to say Congrats to Jan van Oldemark and Steve Gilbert for thier
fine Photography and its inclusion into A Sides!!!
(Also if any of you are wondering... the picture of Ben in mid-air with his
bass was taken by Steve Gilbert... I have seen the full shot of that photo
and its *unreal*!!!!! Ben is literally at least about 3-4 feet off the
stage.)


And last but not least Congratulations to Matt and April!!

I know that the SG fan club lived on after SG's break-up and I was going to
join 2-3 months ago, but we were looking into moving and I didn't know for
sure what my address would be in the 1 or 2 months it would take them to
send me a welcome package or something.  We all know KOTS isn't known for
swiftness.  My question is, now that Susan Silver Management is no more, is
there still a fan club?  I assume that the fan club is/was closely tied in
with her business so I was curious to know if it was shut down also.

Bummer on that one.  I thought before someone had said something about I
being released late late 1997 or early 1998.  Does anyone else remember
anything about that?  Maybe I was a dream.  Then again maybe someone did
but with Silver Management closing and everything maybe it will take
some more time now.
    Well on Tuesday I just couldn't help my self but to go out and get
A-Sides.  Pretty good photos.  Does it look to anyone else that in two
of the pictures it has Ben with the short hair.?? It may just be the
light.  I also found the old HATER cd there too.  It kicked some major
azz.  Enough shit outta me.

  Strange timing on this question.  I just got the mail in and lo and
behold was a post card from KOTS announcing the release of A-sides.  The
postcard is a picture of the front of the CD.  And  a line on it says:
"All the Hits-from a band who never cared if they had one: A
comprehensive collection of Soundgarden singles"   There is still the
same e-mail addie listed and I think the snail mail is the same.  So who
knows?  It doesn't say there is no longer a fan club but it doesn't have
anything on it about joining either.  toni

okay im am the most obsessed person on tha planet!
everything i do, soundgarden comes up in some conversation (i bring it
up) , everything i wrote in school (essays, poems,projects,( i
researched the history of soundgarden, and even grammar
in like grade 12) had something to do with soundgarden. I dont take off
my soundgarden necklace ever for anything ( i almost lost my job)
i have 7 soundgarden shirts, all of the cd's/ep....singles (most of tha
singles) 6 soundgarden posters, and i listen to them always!
id cried for days after they broke up (literally for days)
my obsession is soooooooooo bad........does anyone understand
me or should i see a phsycologist?
hehehehehe and id like to say i love a-sides sooooooooooo much!
well cause its soundgarden
and spoonartis i told that little fucker off!
