Jeez, Jeff you shop at wal-wart for Cds? that is the worst place because anything that seems offense on a Cd case they censor it.(sorrym this is a littel of the subject but I have to say it) Okay, I went to Wal-mart a few months ago to buy Tool: undertow , so I looked for it and I found it. But , get this, the front of the CD is one huge Barcode. Then I went to go look for Prodigy: fat of the land and i found it looked on the back and The song" smack my bitch up" was smack my ANT up" and the song " the funky shit" is " the funky ANT". I just don't like wal-wart anymore because they seem to be infringing on our first amendment. okay, I'm done... JASON REES I first read about WalMart editing all cd's they sell about three months ago and I remember how much it pissed me off that they would edit something that I would buy. I do all of my cd shopping at Music Boulevard in part because the stores around here that sell them for around $12 suck, and the music stores here in Pensacola want $17 for cd's, which I refuse to pay. It only costs a few dollars to make a cd... Anyway, this has nothing to do with Soundgarden so I'll stop now. Tonight on the radio on 105.3 in San Diego, after playing Bleed Together, the DJ said that they'll be getting in a "new" soundgarden song soon... I hope it's Exit Stonehenge. -- -js mailto:jasnodgr@ucsd.edu http://sdcc8.ucsd.edu/~jasnodgr/fm/ "...and that's jordan, not jason." -me ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 2 Nov 1997 08:41:54 -0500 From: Craig Griffith Subject: Re: Interppies I think you're missing the entire point. Basically, he's saying that everything sucks except for the one he loves, and that she is the only one he can count on. What if she dies? Will his entire perception of reality shatter? He could end up going postal on everyone. Just a thought. Interpretations are what you think what a song is about, I never said that Chris himself said that this is what the song was about. This was just a different take on it.
