Ha Hello people, I've just returned from a two week holiday and i come back to around 200 fresh messages from fellow SOMMsters. Amongst these messages was one of the biggest piles of shit i have ever had the displeasure of reading while on this list. Of course i'm talking about the" rules" post by Aaron. Who the fuck does he think he is? Telling people they can only post in perfect english, no more than two smiley faces and not less than 10 words? May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits, you self proclaimed sherriff of absolutely nothing! Yes it's true i haven't been a subscriber to the list for very long, but i have been a big fan of SG for years and know my fair share about them. Aaron's post was an absolute discrace. Seth would make a much better sheriff, if we even need one. I just think it's important people on the list realise common sense is the key to make sure that this list contains posts which are meaningful and not full of stupidity. This is especially true for new subscribers. It wasn't so much what aaron said, rather it was the way he said it. He came away giving the impression that he thinks he's the shit, which was the thing that infuriated me even more. I would much rather be ruled(dare i say it like that) by someone like seth. He can give people friendly advice without sounding like some sort of arrogant little school kid spoilt brat. Hopefully i've said my piece and everyone can leave it at that. OK first off, I have an extra copy of DOTU on clear vinyl that I I have never played. I really don't want to get money involved here so if you've got anything of "equivalent value" I'd be happy to do a swap. BMF on vinyl would be nice :) Also, does anyone have a spare Pretty Noose Promo vid that came out in Australia when you bought DOTU? I never got one for some reason. Lastly, (for some reason I can't get into the SOMMS archive right now so I apologise in advance) I was doing some browsing in Steve's discography site and noticed SG's vid for Girl U Want is not on there ... or maybe I missed it. There is one right? I saw part of it the other day on TV whilst they were doing a Devo special.
