Does anyone have the concert on tape? I'm in the listening area and didn't hear the concert so if someone could make me a copy I'll either pay or replace the tape and pay for postage. Drop me a line if you did. *~PAM~* ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 May 1997 11:40:38 +1000 From: justin nicholls Subject: they'll show you where the truth is... THanks a the first one is a song written by matt cameron (music) and chris cornell (lyrics) titled 'christi'. a studio version exists but was never released. I doubt that it will ever come out, as a sg song or otherwise. the encore is a cover of the beatles' 'I want you', sans lyrics. I haven't heard any other attempts at this song, but this must be one of the best (the melody in addition to matt's toms is my own little heaven). steve's boot discog will have the info up real soon. I hope that helps. carolyn, your's will be in the mail next week ;) ----------------------------------------------- in your real life, treat it like it's special in your real life, try to be more kind in your real life, think of those that love you in this real life, try to be less blind words by vernon reid ---------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 May 1997 00:39:44 -0400 From: chewy Subject: Re: 94.1 WYSP & Hater question. in case anyone didn't figure it out yet, the 94.1 WYSP and 93.1 WXRT are the same broadcast. and yes i taped it. sorry to anyone who has e-mailed me, but i just started a new job and am kinda behind...i'll reply to you all soon enough. besides, i gotta get rid of the commercials and that "doug podell" guy. man, he was irritating. also, i was wondering...was/is there a reason the first hater album is no longer being made? it's such a great album...it's a shame you can no longer get it in stores. and, btw, when's the new one coming out? :) chewy (dave) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 May 1997 01:21:34 -0400 From: Leslie Campbell Subject: Re: 94.1 WYSP & Hater question. Looking through the sale bin at a local record shop I found a copy of the Born to Choose compilation. This contains the hit single "H.I.V. Baby". This is in CD format, and the song is just wicked. Other artists include, REM, Tom Waits, Pavement, Helmet, Cowboy Junkies, and more. It cost me $9.07 (yes I still have the receipt), so for $10 (to cover shipping) it can be yours. Email me. If I get lots of entries, I'll do a draw or something. Greg P.S. Those are Canadian prices. ~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~ ~Greg Fox ~ 4th Year Comp Sci ~ ~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~ University of Victoria ~ ~R.I.P.
