I found my very own copy of the somms record. Many thanks to Caryn, Love Music (who said anywhere east of Lake Washington is uncool?:-) and my credit card! So whoever keeps a log of somms owners (sorry, can't remember who it is), please add me to the list! I've been a loyal Soundgarden fan since 1992. I was just as shocked as everone else at the news on April 9. Good thing I got to see them for one last time at the Patriot Center (Va.) in November! I am form Baltimore. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me where I can get copies of bootlegs (CDs and videos), especially Stolen Prayers and Fresh Deadly Rarities -- If this info is on Seth's site I'm a moron to have missed it! Thanks, Julia ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 May 1997 00:40:32 -0500 From: David Miller Subject: setlist for XRT concert, a little trivia Chicago radio station WXRT played an SG concert tonight. Here's the setlist: Come Together The Ugly Truth Get on the Snake Mood For Trouble Hands all Over Into the Void (Sealth) Outshined Gun Room a Thousand Years Wide Big Dumb Sex Highlights of the show were Gun (very powerful!), and Into the Void-This was the best of the show for me. They played it perfectly! They said the concert was from 1989 at the Palladium in Hollywood, CA. But Chris mentioned playing with his homeboys Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam(who hadn't even formed yet), and one of their biggest influences, Spinal Tap at this show. I'm pretty good w/ PJ's tour history and the only time they've played the Palladium was on 10/6/91. So, I knew I could find some info on Caryn's page, and sure enough, this show was w/ Spinal Tap, Alice In Chains, Screaming Jets, Soundgarden and Thunder. The actual date of the show is October 6, 1991. All in all, it was very cool. I'm surprised WXRT played so many songs.
